The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Bellemont issued a flood advisory that is in effect until 2:45 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
Finishing at 3.63 inches of precipitation, as measured at the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport, July landed 1.02 inches above normal and pushed the water year dating beginning October back to a total of 17.30 inches and 1.66 inches above normal.

The recent heavy storms through the northern Arizona region prompted federal, state and local land managers to lift or ease back most fire restrictions.
Beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday to 11 p.m., the watch warns that flash flooding is possible due to excessive rainfall in multiple areas, including Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek.
Though county officials are cautiously optimistic that the Pocket Fire will not substantially increase the likelihood of severe flooding in Oak Creek Canyon, predictions will be difficult until the Burned Area Emergency Response team completes an initial survey.
Beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday to 11 p.m., the watch warns that flash flooding is possible due to excessive rainfall in multiple areas, including the Pocket Fire burn scar, Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek.
The total of 13.67 inches for the water year is now just 0.21 ahead of normal and the calendar year’s 4.49 inches is 4.00 inches below normal.

The Cliff Spring Fire burning below the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park has not grown in size over the past week, according to an update from park officials on Thursday, July 9.
Containment on the Pocket Fire has increased to 73%, as of the latest daily update from the incident management team on Friday.
