Replacing presentations with a memo that had to be read silently at meeting start. His concern: that presentation skills create bias — leading organizations to support bad ideas simply because they were well presented. But banning presentations is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 the answer. Here's why 👇 🎯 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲: they combine charts, tables, images and diagrams. Easier for our brains to process. 📊 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: each slide contributes to the overall narrative. ✍️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺: most people can't write clear memos anyway. Just as they can't create clear presentations. The real question isn't "to ban or not to ban." It's: how do we elevate the presentation creation skills of businesspeople, to turn presentations into true performance drivers? Here's the formula: Better presentations → Better meetings → Better / faster decisions → Better performance The ultimate criterion for a great presentation? "Did it help achieve the meeting's objective?" Et maintenant je n'arrive plus à savoir si j'utilisais Claude n'importe comment, ou juste comme un débutant. Pendant très longtemps, mon usage de Claude ressemblait à celui de tout le monde. Écris ça. Résume ça. Trouve-moi des idées. On recommence. Ce qui est très bien. Mais c'est un peu comme embaucher un consultant de classe mondiale et lui demander seulement de relire ta liste de courses. Utile. Un peu triste. Le plus drôle, c'est que les capacités les plus puissantes de Claude ne sont pas cachées derrière des prompts compliqués ou des workflows avancés. Elles sont ridiculement simples. Une commande. Un résultat complètement différent. Par exemple : /ghost ↳ Quand tu veux un texte qui sonne humain, pas validé par un comité de robots. /roast ↳ Pour les moments où tu veux un feedback honnête. Le genre qui améliore ton travail tout en cassant ton ego en silence. /matrix ↳ Transforme une décision floue en tableau comparatif. Parfait pour choisir entre des outils, des stratégies ou des idées. /steal ↳ Une de mes préférées. Au lieu de demander "qu'est-ce qui marche ?", demande à Claude de reverse-engineer POURQUOI ça marche. C'est là qu'est l'or. /focus ↳ Pour garder Claude sur la tâche. Utile, parce que l'IA a parfois la capacité de concentration d'un labrador qui vient de voir un écureuil. Ce qui m'a surpris, ce ne sont pas les commandes. C'est à quel point elles changeaient la qualité de la sortie. Même modèle. Même abonnement. Résultats radicalement différents. Et là, ça a fait clic. Le vrai avantage IA, ce n'est pas l'accès. Tout le monde y a accès. L'avantage, c'est de savoir tirer une meilleure réflexion des mêmes outils. La plupart des gens cherchent une IA plus intelligente. J’ai eu le privilège de participer à des projets transformateurs, de contribuer à l’évolution du secteur de la santé et des technologies au Québec, et surtout, de bâtir des relations humaines qui auront profondément marqué mon parcours. Au fil des années, votre confiance, les défis relevés ensemble et les succès partagés resteront parmi mes plus beaux souvenirs professionnels. Scrolling through 200+ photos on my phone, I'm flooded with memories that still make me smile: 🍽️ Magnificent dinners and events with teammates, customers and partners 🏎️ Worked with F1 team to understand how the use cases can influence the automotive industry ✈️ Flying flight simulators 🏭 Deep diving into Amazon's supply chain alongside manufacturers 🌍 Traveling the world — countries and states I never dreamed I'd visit But the pictures don't capture the best part — the *people*. The brilliant customers I had the privilege to work with, the outstanding partners, and most of all, the incredibly talented colleagues on my team and the specialists I learned from every single day. I won't name everyone who shaped this journey — but you know who you are. ❤️ One thing I'll also carry with me: joining Amazon gave me a front row seat to one of the most extraordinary technological shifts of our time. Watching AI evolve from an emerging concept to something genuinely transforming industries — from the inside — has been a privilege I didn't fully appreciate until now. The implication was that it would somehow "civilize" my ambition. That I’d become softer. Easier to manage. More predictable. It didn’t smooth me out,it sharpened the edges. The founder of Mother’s Day, Anna Jarvis, would have likely agreed with me. She spent her final years (and her entire inheritance) trying to abolish the holiday she created. She was even arrested for protesting against it. She felt the commercialized, "sweet" version was a hallucination that insulted the gritty, high-stakes reality of a woman's work. She wasn't looking for a greeting card. She was looking for impact. The reality of managing a career while raising humans doesn’t smooth you out. It is a masterclass in radical prioritization. Whether it's navigating a boardroom or the logistical chaos of an airport with two kids, it makes you fiercely protective of your time because you no longer have the luxury of wasting it. The friction of these two worlds creates a super filter. It sharpens your intuition and gives you a very low tolerance for corporate theater. I’ve realized I’m not interested in being well-rounded. I’d rather keep the edges. They are far more useful for cutting through the noise. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone managing the "un-manageable."
