Banks across Kerala will remain closed for two consecutive days on September 4, 2025 and 5, 2025, for Onam, one of the state’s most important and widely-celebrated festivals. Since Onam is a major regional holiday, banking services in Kerala will not be available on these days.

In India, bank holidays are declared for national events such as Independence Day, Republic Day, and Gandhi Jayanti and also for regional festivals, which vary from state to state.
