National varieties of English
[edit]
Hello. In a recent edit to the page Goel Ratzon, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 18:01, 1 November 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Plasticwonder. I noticed that you changed the personal pronouns of an individual in one of your recent edits. Wikipedia refers to all people, including transgender and nonbinary people, by the pronouns they have most recently requested for themselves; this applies to all phases of their lives, unless they have requested otherwise. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Plasticwonder (Cat got your tongue?) 20:06, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- It was a mistake in the writing; all the rest of the page calls her “she” Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 20:07, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Sahra Ali Mehenni. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it consists of machine-generated text and I am worried about possible errors in BLP here. The use of a first name throughout and the apparent hallucination of her sharing her bedroom as well as having 4 siblings suggest to me either LLM use, or a disregard for sourcing facts that needs to be resolved.. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boynamedsue (talk) 16:01, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
- I did NOT put any AI generated text on there. I don’t ever use AI; I do all my own writing. Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 16:13, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
- From the linked source: “ The Ali Mehenni family lives in a red-tiled, middle-class home in Lezignan-Corbieres, a small town in the south of France. Sahra, who turns 18 on Saturday, swooned over her baby brother and shared a room with her younger sister.”
- so that she shared a room with her sister is not a hallucination Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 16:15, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
- This talks about her siblings. l Also not a hallucination https://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/france-struggles-to-deal-with-young-jihadist-exodus-to-syria-a-1001254.html
- I called her by her first name because all the sources do. If you want me to change that I can but I NEVER used AI on this. Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 16:22, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Sahra Ali Mehenni (June 3)
[edit]
LLM-generated pages with certain obvious signs of being machine generated may be deleted without notice.
These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:
- hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
- unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
- copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.
Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.
See the advice page on large language models for more information.Next steps

Scam warning
- If anyone asks you for money or payment to publish, protect, or restore a Wikipedia article or draft, it is a scam. Learn about scams on Wikipedia.
- That is completely untrue. I have NEVER used any LLM or any AI to write anything at all, certainly not a Wikipedia article. It is simply a lie. Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 01:07, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- I was going based off of @Boynamedsue's assessment when they draftified the article. Looking at your conversation above, I do think there are some errors in sourcing. For example, Spiegel article says that she has one sister and one brother, not that she has four siblings. Looking at the edit history, I think it is plausible that this isn't a case of AI but moreso a case of misreading the source. I apologize for any confusion this has created--I would recommend carefully checking the details match the cited sources, and then resubmitting. SomeoneDreaming (talk) 01:31, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- I DID carefully check the source details. The person who accused me of using AI did NOT correctly read the sources properly and said there were “AI hallucinations” and that this plus the fact that the article called the subject by her first name was proof of AI. I double checked the sources and the info I had put up was correct, so I just changed the first name references to last name references and resubmitted.
- I don’t know how to prove I didn’t use AI but the fact I’m being accused of doing so is very offensive to me. I take pride in being a good researcher and writer and think LLMs are immoral. I would never use one to write a Wikipedia entry or anything else for that matter. Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 01:35, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- I think the Spiegel article is just wrong. From Time: https://time.com/3591943/isis-syria-women-brides-france/ “ How a quiet young French woman from a mixed Muslim-Catholic family with five children…” Muffinbutt1985 (talk Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 01:37, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- I see--I have removed the exact number of siblings as it seems that sources conflict. I'm sorry for how I handled this; I should have done my own checking rather than relying on the new page patrol comment. Looking at the edit history, it does not seem like you used AI to write this draft. Unfortunately, we've been dealing with a lot of AI-written articles, and sometimes that spills over onto uninvolved editors like yourself. Thank you for your hard work in double checking those sources--it's very important that our sourcing is correct for BLP articles. I will be returning your article to mainspace shortly. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! DreamRimmer bot II (talk) 16:24, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

The article Dawood family terrorist cell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
I am not sure whether this should be PROD or BLP PROD as it is a BLP issue but is rather about a combination of WP:LOWPROFILE and MOS:TERRORIST. Regardless, without any evidence of convictions for terrorism, there is absolutely no reason why this page should exist at all. Its existence is a serious BLP violation.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Simonm223 (talk) 16:20, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
- The disappearance of the family was certainly notable and received a lot of discussion, including in the international press. I think it deserves an article though I’d be fine with making changes. Muffinbutt1985 (talk) 18:18, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
