    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting the restoration of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11, G12, or G15 be undeleted here.

    • Declined pending further information. This was undeleted over six months ago with a pledge that it would be worked on, but no edits were made to improve the entry for resubmission. Draft space is not an indefinite hosting service for material found to be unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia's article mainspace. We may be willing to restore it again, but only if you provide a definite assurance that you actually intend to work on it and provide a short description of what you intend to do to improve it to meet our policies and guidelines.     2023 Idaho wildfires undeletion and draftification

    Gocrazy69, as G15 applies to any page, not just those in main or draft space it would be eligible for immediate deletion again. Looking at the article it would be much better to start from scratch based on any good sources you can find. Not only does it have hallucinated references, others are not independent reliable sources as they are interviews and/or promotional. Three start "Originating from the humble land of Lucknow" which suggest based on the same PR. Also note JTtheOG just tagged the article is was actually Anachronist that deleted the article.     This is what happens when an AI writes an article. AI-written articles are usually horrible, full of promotional puffery that the AI insists is neutral, and citing hallucinated sources. You can use the AI to help you find sources, provided you check each one for compliance with WP:Golden Rule. You must then write the article yourself, in your own words, based on those sources. Only after you have written your draft, show it to the AI and ask it for suggestions, but not rewriting.     Hi. I missed the 'soft deletion' discussion page as I was away and so I didn't get a chance to contribute. I can sort of see the reasoning but I think this is one of those select cases where some caution could be shown and an err toward inclusion would actually enrich Wikipedia. By that I mean there are important areas of mainstream culture where something that is previously only known in a sub-culture - in this case fetishwear and the aesthetic - at some point finally moves into the mainstream and is picked up by and promoted by much bigger names, Vivian Westwood, etc., and the haute couture fashion houses.

    This is exactly the case here, where Tony Mitchell's work in this sub-culture and in editing the undoubtedly influential Skin Two magazine, very much helped catalyse that jump from underground clubs to high fashion catwalks, and then eventually filtering down into mainstream clothing and the high street. But this important connection point is, by its very nature, sometimes very under-reported - especially as it often began in those pre- or early-Internet days.

    Nevertheless, I think there is just enough there to establish Mitchell as a notable figure in that cultural shift - in this case in a British cultural event that was disseminated by high fashion and eventually went worldwide - to merit inclusion. I think the history, especially his commercial journalism at the well-known Sounds magazine (interviewing the likes of Prince), also help establish him as a mainstream feature journalist even before the later Skin Two editorial career.

    As I say, I think careful evaluation and re-inclusion by a nuanced editorial assessment would enrich Wikipedia as the article provides evidence of a notable (and noted) historical connection point that is important in much wider terms than this single point of contact may initially suggest. I think it would be a loss for it to fall (or be pushed) into the cracks, and would greatly appreciate your consideration on this matter.

    Aleph Tav, the hebrew word 'את' is written over 7,034 times in the Hebrew Old Testament, and thus is clearly worthy of a wiki page. Aleph-Tav (Modern-Hebrew: את) (Aramaic: 𐡀𐡕) (Proto-Hebrew: 𐤀𐤕) is written over 7,034 times in the original Holy Bible, specifically the Hebrew Old Testament, making 'את' (Aramaic: 𐡀𐡕) (Proto-Hebrew: 𐤀𐤕) the most written word in the entire Hebrew Bible.[1] Aleph-Tav (את), encompassing the first letter (Aleph) and the last letter (Tav) of the Hebrew alphabet, is etymologically equivalent to “Alpha and Omega” when translated into Greek. Aleph-Tav (את) (Proto-Hebrew: 𐤀𐤕) can be etymologically viewed as the 'the beginning and the end, the first and the last' (Revelation 22:13).     Thanks very much. I thought it was deleted because of insufficient relevance. Since that time the number of articles has increased manyfold and equally obscure academics have pages. However, if as you say the article was just three unsourced pages it is not worth to pursue and then the standar rules of having a page should apply.     @Φιλοτεχνημένο: I don't think an article at that title (in the main or draft space) has ever existed in the English Wikipedia, not least because it's clearly in Greek. There's also nothing in your edit history. An article at that title does exist in the Greek Wikipedia (el:Εθνόσημο της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας), and there is also a corresponding English article at Coat of arms of Greece, but neither has obviously been deleted. Can you please clarify what you're requesting?     The article was on el.wikipedia.org, Εθνόσημο_της_Ελληνικής_Δημοκρατίας_2025 which I added an analysis of existing designs of the Greek coat of arms based on the source law (Νόμο 48) In an attempt to provide a 1 to 1 higher resolution of the logo in vector format. Some fella just deleted that, and I would like the source or undeletion, because all I did was provide a cleanup of the existing low resolution logo.     I do see that Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rifts Collectible Card Game was closed in 2018 as "delete", even though only the nominator put forth a deletion rationale (the article creator was hostile throughout the discussion), and the other respondent ultimately voted to "merge". I do have a review from the Sci-fi channel ("Syfy") website that I can add, [3] so I am requesting that this one be draftified along with its talk page. I could take it to DRV but since the discussion hints that there was at least one other RS, I would like to give it a try in draft space if possible.
