Thank you for raising this with me directly. Yes, I used Claude as a drafting tool to help structure Wikitext and edit summaries during my editing sessions on the Stryper article. I understand this conflicts with the Wikipedia No LLM policy as currently written, and I will not use AI to draft article content going forward.

I want to be clear about what I did and didn't do. Every factual claim, source, and citation was independently identified and verified by me using reliable published sources. I had borrowed a library copy of Beaujour & Bienstock's Nöthin' But a Good Time (St. Martin's Press, 2021) and was genuinely thrilled to use it as an independent third-party source alongside the Stryper website for parts of the band's early history. The book provides primary interviews with band members, peers, and label executives that significantly strengthen what had previously been available only on the band's own website.

Additional sources included three Los Angeles Times articles (from the 80s), the Recording Academy's own Grammy database, the official concert archive from the Metallica website, and the official Bon Jovi archive. No AI-generated citations or hallucinated facts were introduced.

I recognise that the process violated policy regardless of the sourcing quality. I will post on the Stryper Talk page to propose reintroducing the sourced content written entirely in my own words, with community review before submission.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to David (2025 film) when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving.
