Trust me, it’s more obvious than you think! Authenticity, curiosity, and real experience always stand out. Interviewers can spot AI-crafted responses from a mile away. Sagar Gogawat shared this"While everything is AI, the real work still happens on the ground" I’ve shared a detailed perspective on this shift in mindset and how it can reshape lending strategies — in my latest article. In lending, collections should no longer be seen as a downstream, reactive function focused only on recovery. Instead, it should be recognized as a real-time signal system, one that tests, validates, and continuously informs upstream disbursement decisions. When powered by AI and strong data infrastructure, collections intelligence evolves into a strategic asset, not just a back office operation. https://lnkd.in/gBvHchfYHow Collections Intelligence Can Shape Smarter Lending: A Reverse Lens on Credit, Disbursement, and NPAHow Collections Intelligence Can Shape Smarter Lending: A Reverse Lens on Credit, Disbursement, and NPA

Sagar Gogawat shared thisYou Think You Know Until You Don’t — and That’s Growth! With every new role, you're reminded — as much as you know, you don’t know. Stepping into new mandates, especially in high-growth, high-stakes environments, brings with it a fresh set of challenges you’ve never faced before. In my journey — from building products to now driving growth and business at lendingPlate — every move has brought a new layer of complexity: 📌 New stakeholders 📌 New user behaviours 📌 New regulatory realities 📌 New blind spots I didn’t even know existed And the funny part is — just when you think “I’ve seen it all,” something reminds you otherwise. But that’s also where the magic lies. Growth doesn’t come from knowing all the answers — it comes from being willing to ask better questions, faster. The learning curve never ends. It just changes shape. And I’ve come to realize — that’s the best part of the ride. #fintech #growthmindset #leadership #lending #productstrategy #careerjourney #learning

Sagar Gogawat shared thisDear connections, I wanted to share a bittersweet update with you all. After an incredible journey of building FernGlasz from the ground up with all my heart, energy, and soul (yes, literally!), I’ve decided to part ways this November. What started as an idea grew into a thriving community of 10,000+ students and 110+ companies, powered by constant user insights, relentless research, and a pinch of the AI magic that reshaped the world over the past few years. As I reflect on this chapter, I want to share some lessons I’ve learned during this rollercoaster ride as a co-founder. Hopefully, they’ll resonate with those of you building or thinking about creating something extraordinary: For the team (they always come first-- this pic doesn't have all the team members we had): 👉 Keep your shoulders up, no matter how tough things get. The team looks to you for strength and hope every single day. 👉 Spend time with every team member. Listen to what they think about the product, the market, and even their own role—it matters more than you think. 👉 Take chai/coffee, etc, breaks together. Small moments like these go a long way in building a culture of togetherness. 👉 Help everyone understand why each decision is being made. Clarity drives trust and keeps everyone aligned. Between founders: 👉 Always show your real side—don’t hide what you’re feeling as an individual. 👉 Have honest conversations about the direction the company is heading. No sugarcoating. 👉 Be practical and realistic with your expectations, even while staying optimistic. 👉 Pick up each other’s calls—your co-founder might need someone to lean on at that moment. 👉 Most importantly, plan your finances carefully. Assume no funding is coming and make sure you can cover both personal and company needs (roti, kapda, makan essentials). On shipping features: 👉 Don’t obsess over 3-6-9-12 month roadmaps. They keep you stuck in the future. 👉 Solve for what users need right now. User reviews, 1:1 calls, and feedback are just a phone call away! Phone uthao and call lagao... 👉 Small teams = quick wins. Keep it simple. 👉 Prioritize ruthlessly. Don't try to solve everything at once; prioritize! If you need to work on 2 things at a time, give 80% focus on feature 1 and 20% on feature 2 with 2 separate small teams. You don't need "Mix fruit juice" to be healthy; it is more sugar than health. This journey has taught me so much that I can go on writing an essay, and I’m immensely grateful to everyone who’s been part of it—the team, our users, and my co-founders Abhilekh Kumar Kaushal Panjwani. Thank you for believing in what we built together. Next is what? Well, even I am figuring it out with a break from the hustle. Stay tuned.

Sagar Gogawat liked thisSagar Gogawat liked thisI have always been an avid reader, although I have never been particularly loyal to a genre. If something makes me curious, I will read it. A conversation, a behaviour I cannot quite explain, a decision that puzzles me, or an idea I find myself disagreeing with can all send me looking for a book. Perhaps that explains why my reading has moved so freely between psychology, human behaviour, founders, leadership, culture, business and decision-making. Every once in a while, though, I come across a book that makes me look at something familiar from an entirely different perspective. Perhaps that is why these nine have stayed with me. Some gave language to things I had already experienced in leadership. Others challenged the way I thought about people, organisations and decisions. And a few even made me stop, go back a few pages, and reconsider an assumption I had carried for years. I suppose that has become my test for a good book. It should leave me with a perspective I did not quite have when I opened it. And since there is always room for another good recommendation, I would love to know: If there is one book you believe everyone should read at least once, which would you recommend? #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #BookRecommendations Stellar Search

The ability to use ultrasound as a readily available bedside tool and integrate its findings into the broader clinical picture is an important skill in acute care medicine. I was glad to expand my clinical toolkit and gain practical skills that I will carry with me throughout my medical training and future practice.

Sagar Gogawat liked thisSagar Gogawat liked thisDanube Group founder Rizwan Sajan has chosen to protect jobs at a time when many businesses are under pressure to control costs. Sajan said the company’s nearly 6,000 employees will continue to have their jobs, with no plan to reduce the workforce. He pointed out that many team members remained with the company when business conditions were far from favourable, including during the 2008 financial crisis and the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. His view is that employees who stayed committed when the company was facing difficulties should not suddenly be treated as a financial burden when the business needs to protect its margins. Instead of making people pay for difficult market conditions through job losses, Sajan believes the company should find other ways to manage the pressure. Danube Group has grown under Sajan from a building-materials business into a diversified group with interests including real estate, construction materials and home interiors. His latest stand puts employee retention and long-term loyalty ahead of short-term cost-cutting. #rizwansajan #danubegroup #danube #employees #jobs #layoffs #leadership #business #workforce #entrepreneurship #employeefirst

But numbers like these aren’t created in a quarter. They are the result of decisions made long before the quarter began - backing the right borrowers, staying disciplined when the easy path was growth at any cost, being patient when the market demanded speed, and saying no to opportunities that looked good on paper but didn’t fit our conviction. That discipline is now showing up in the numbers. The model is working. The foundation is stronger. And our ambition is bigger. Sagar Gogawat liked thisSagar Gogawat liked thisBy 2030, 40% of Indians will have no access to drinking water. Two founders built the fix for ₹8,500 and it needs no electricity. By 2030, India's water demand will be twice the available supply. We are the world's largest user of groundwater, extracting more than the US and China combined. 450 cubic kilometres of groundwater vanished from northern India between 2002 and 2021. And every monsoon, we let thousands of litres of the purest water on the planet wash off our rooftops straight into drains. Two founders named Michael and Vijayraj noticed this and built something brilliant. Rainy: a patented rainwater harvesting filter that works without electricity, installs like standard plumbing, and handles everything from a light drizzle to a heavy downpour. The entire filter is food-grade. Maintenance is near zero. Comes with a 10-year warranty starting at ₹8,500. Here's what that actually means in practice. A 100 sq. metre rooftop in a city with average rainfall collects up to 80,000 litres of water per year. That's months of household supply either stored in a sump or recharged directly into your borewell. Microsoft and Infosys use their systems. So do homes across 23 countries. This is not a moonshot. It's applied common sense at a moment when common sense is urgently needed. What we call water scarcity is partly a design problem. We built cities that concrete over every surface, block natural recharge, and drill deeper borewells when shallow ones dry up, without ever asking how the water gets back in. 200,000 Indians die every year from inadequate access to safe water. By 2050, water scarcity could reduce India's GDP by 6%. The solution isn't always expensive or complex. Sometimes it's two founders, a ₹8,500 filter, and the decision to stop letting free water go to waste. We built an entire generation of homes that harvest Wi-Fi signals from the air. We still haven't figured out how to harvest the rain.

Sagar Gogawat reacted on thisSagar Gogawat reacted on thisDREAM BIG - is not just a phrase, but a way of life that I unknowingly embraced since childhood. If someone had asked me as a kid playing in the dusty by-lanes of my hometown, Samastipur, of my aspirations - I would probably have said A MOTORBIKE. Hell, my personal email ID is abhi25k because earning 25,000 INR a month was my ultimate aim! Nitin Kalra, Kaushal Panjwani and I, against all odds, dreamt to create magic in the BUSINESS TRAVEL space a year back and set out to have an impact. Experts were quick to judge - TOO CROWDED, HEAVILY COMPETITIVE, VERY DIFFICULT - were the often heard phrases! But we held on, we - like brothers in arms - kept moving forward. We had incredible conviction in ourselves. The problem statement is real. Every company that we spoke to is struggling with business travel. And that told us that we were on the right track... Tripare.ai was created on May 23, 2025 to solve real issues. We consciously stayed away from BUZZ & focussed on solutioning. The only thing that mattered to us was what customers were saying. A year later, our little baby (Tripare.ai) has crossed adolescence and is taking steps in its teenage years. June 2026 has been remarkable, not just because we crossed INR 2 crores of monthly business - but also on account of the extraordinary growth trajectory unlocked in this month. At this time, I feel nothing but immense gratitude towards our investors, our customers, our partners and last but not the least - the early bunch of amazing colleagues... AND - we have not even begun... We will fall, we will stumble and we will slip - but WE WILL NEVER STOP! #entrepreneurship #milestones #startup #builders #travel

Sagar Gogawat liked thisSagar Gogawat liked thisOne of the things I found myself thinking about after our conversation with Kapil Dev was how much childhood has changed. For many of us, play was not something our parents had to plan. It was just part of the day. We came back from school, finished our homework, went outside and returned only when the sun went down. We ran, fell, fought, made up, lost games, won some, and learned so much without even realizing it. Today, children are growing up in a very different world. Screens are everywhere. Outdoor spaces are fewer. Schedules are fuller. Food choices are quicker. And sometimes, free play becomes the first thing that gets pushed aside. In this episode of The Good Parent, Manoj Kohli and I had the privilege of speaking with #KapilDev about fitness, nutrition, sports and why movement is such an important part of a child’s development. What stayed with me most was how simply he spoke about sport. Not as a path to becoming an athlete, but as a way for children to learn effort, discipline, confidence, teamwork and the ability to accept both winning and losing. He also spoke about something every parent will relate to. Children learn from what they see at home. They learn from our food habits. They learn from our phone habits. They learn from how we spend our weekends. They learn from whether we make health a family priority or leave it for later. We also spoke about why girls need the same freedom and encouragement to play as boys. Not held back by fear, appearance, tanning, scars or old ideas of what girls should or should not do. For me, the heart of this conversation was simple. Fitness is not about pressure. Sports are not about perfection. Good health is not a separate part of parenting. It is one of the most important foundations we can give our children. Watch the full episode - link in the comments. Pricing is no longer just a strategic decision It’s a real-time market response. • Live subscription data is shaping final price discovery • Strong retail and HNI demand can push pricing to the upper band • Weak participation forces recalibration The shift Institutional investors still set the tone. But today, retail participation has become a decisive validation signal. Pathscript Insight Markets don’t reward noise.
