This IDC study describes the partner-to-partner networking Partnering Collaboration Framework, a framework of 10 business functions and four collaboration levels that describes how channel partners can create successful and repeatable working partnerships with other channel partners. Partnering, by definition, is about collaboration or working together. Too often, channel partners associated with large software and hardware vendors use an ad hoc, opportunistic approach to working together. The Partnering Collaboration Framework establishes a framework of 10 business functions and four levels of collaboration that must be considered when two or more organizations look to partner on a deal, a campaign, or a business.
"In this continually challenging economic period, it can be difficult for channel partners to find ways to grow their business in new technologies, industries, and geographies without taking on more risk than is acceptable to their business model," said Christine Dover, IDC research manager, Software Channels Research. "The Partnering Collaboration Framework provides a framework for channel partners to use when considering their own readiness to partner as well as that of an organization with which they want to partner."Övriga författareVisa publikation
