    From Nov 1st, the mandatory general Health Insurance for Non O-A Visas applications from Thai Embassies increases to 3M BHT and must include the treatment of Covid. Guidelines Non-Immigrant Visa (O-A) - Health Insurance for Long Stay Visa in Thailand (tgia.org) It isn't yet clear if the 40K outpatient cover is still required. For annual extension applications from a Non O-A Visa, the increase becomes effective from Sept 1st 2022, although it's understood some Immigration offices are already advising the increase will apply on renewal after Sept 1st 2021. There has been no official announcement from the MFA to date.

    The Thai cabinet have approved in principal to increase the current 400,000 inpatient, 40,000 outpatient to a minimum requirement of 3 million baht from September 2022 for Non O-A Visa applications. No further details are known at this time and if the 40,000 outpatient requirement will remain in place, or if this will also be applied retrospectively to extension applications from an original Non Imm O-A Visa entry.     Hi There Does anyone know if I can get the mandatory health insurance for my 88 year old Dad to enter Thailand? Can’t seem find anything in UK wondering if can buy online direct in Thailand to offer this cover ? Thanks in advance Graham
