Djeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisDjeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisToday we’re excited to release Muse Spark 1.3 with improved performance on agentic and coding tasks, and a focus on real-world usability. Key capabilities: 1️⃣ Long-horizon agentic tasks: generates its own context across conflicting sources, self-corrects plan gaps, tracks what it learned 2️⃣ Real collaboration: asks clarifying questions, invokes help when stuck, confirms before consequential actions 3️⃣ Multitasking: maps incoming prompts to the right task inside a single, messy thread — whether you're steering an earlier request or interrupting it 4️⃣ Coding efficiency: ~20% fewer tool calls and ~25% fewer tokens vs. 1.2, per internal comparisons 5️⃣ Safety: stronger adversarial robustness and better calibration on irreversible actions Muse Spark 1.3 is rolling out today in Muse Code and Meta Model API at dev.meta.ai, with max reasoning coming soon after we finish safety testing. We also have bigger models, Muse Spark open weights, and more on the way soon. Learn more: https://go.meta.me/46IsHsV

Djeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisDjeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisIntroducing Muse Glimmer, an open-weight 30-billion-parameter model optimized for always-on local agent workflows. Keeping with our long tradition of sharing fundamental AI research, we’re releasing the weights under a permissive Apache 2.0 license. Muse Glimmer is small enough to run on consumer hardware like a Mac or PCs with performant GPUs, supporting local agents and function calling, local coding, and LLM-as-a-judge evaluation. The model delivers strong performance on key agentic use cases and benchmarks compared with leading models in its size category. Most foundation model deployments still depend on cloud infrastructure and network access. Running locally means AI that works anywhere, with or without a connection. Muse Glimmer is optimized for exactly that. 🔗 Read the research blog: https://lnkd.in/enw7a4St 🔗 Download Muse Glimmer on Hugging Face: https://lnkd.in/eK6x9MQc 🔗 Find resources: https://lnkd.in/eQ9GWHxE

Djeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisDjeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisWe just announced GA of 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬 🚀🚀🚀. It's a "𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭-𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭" strategy on message buses! Most workloads first get ingested to a bus like 𝐀𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐟𝐤𝐚, and then processed again with say Spark (or even Kafka Connect). With Zerobus you can replace this whole pipeline. Just hit an API with individual data items you want to add and they'll appear in Parquet, Iceberg, Delta Lake on your Lakehouse in seconds! It can handle the 3 Vs (Volume, Variety, Velocity) of the data just like any bus, without the hassle of hosting, managing, operating a message bus. https://lnkd.in/gjgVpNSn

Djeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisDjeme MAHAMAT K. reposted thisI now constantly get questions about the SAAS meltdown, role of AI, system of records etc. I don't have an answer to all these. But I do know that we saw an acceleration in our business in Q2, Q3, and now finished the year with accelerating Q4. The question is, why? Short answer: AI. But the underlying reason is subtle. We are growing fast because we are finally removing the biggest bottleneck in data: the technical barrier to entry. For years, if you didn’t know SQL, Python, you were locked out of the value chain. That has changed fundamentally with the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, and it is the "secret sauce" behind our recent momentum: • 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞: Analysts can query data without any SQL. I use this every day myself. • 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞: Builds end-to-end AI models for you, similar to Cursor. • 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞: Write Spark pipelines, does plumbing, troubleshooting. We've been talking about DATA + AI democratization, but generative AI finally enabled it in a way that wasn't possible before. That's why we're seeing a market response. Take 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬. We launched this serverless engine for agents and apps recently. At 8 months into its journey, its revenue is already 2x what our Data Warehouse product was at the same stage. All this taken together, we ended up with the following stats for Q4: 🚀 $5.4B Revenue Run-Rate, growing >65% YoY 🚀 $1.4B AI Revenue Run-Rate 🚀 FCF Positive for the year 🚀 NRR >>140% https://lnkd.in/giHdhGiiDatabricks Grows >65% YoY, Surpasses $5.4 Billion Revenue Run-Rate, Doubles Down on Lakebase and GenieDatabricks Grows >65% YoY, Surpasses $5.4 Billion Revenue Run-Rate, Doubles Down on Lakebase and Genie

I filed a GH issue (for myself) about adding support for TF plugin framework in the Databricks Terraform exporter (https://lnkd.in/eQMbJSJh) slightly more than a year ago: https://lnkd.in/e9Kphui6. I expected to need 1-2-3 days straight to implement it (think about abstractions, writing the code, testing it, etc.). Yesterday, just out of curiosity, I asked Cursor to prepare a plan for this implementation. After a few iterations, the plan looked reasonable, and I asked to build according to it. After a few iterations on the actual implementation (asking the agent to generalize the implementation, fixing a few crashes, etc.), the PR is finally open: https://lnkd.in/ePftu7tf. Now, I can easily add support for more Terraform resources to the Terraform exporter. That's really important because most of the new resources are automatically generated from the API spec, but the generation of the code is more complex, as we need to handle dependencies, generate references between resources, etc.

Open-sourcing a small tool I’ve been finding useful: mcp-app-lint. It checks that your MCP server conforms to the ChatGPT Apps SDK and MCP Apps standards — right endpoints, MIME types, resources, the works. Especially handy when you’re using Claude Code or Codex to build MCP servers: tell the agent to run mcp-app-lint as part of its loop, and your output is way more reliable. https://lnkd.in/gv6Sm__k

Excited to see additional LLM options continuing to expand in the Snowflake ecosystem, including the introduction of ChatGPT 5.4 within Snowflake Cortex AI. One of the most compelling aspects of Cortex is the ability to bring powerful AI capabilities directly to your data without moving that data outside of the governed Snowflake environment. This allows organizations to enable advanced AI use cases while maintaining strong data governance, security, and control. It’s an important step forward for teams that want to adopt AI responsibly, enabling innovation without exposing sensitive data to external AI platforms.

Will AlphaEvolve take off in 2026? When Google DeepMind first announced #AlphaEvolve, I was surprised it didn’t capture the same "mainstream" momentum as #AlphaFold or #AlphaGo. While those milestones solved major bottlenecks or complexities that are more relatable, AlphaEvolve is tackling something fundamental: the autonomous evolution of the code and algorithms that runs our world and industries. I’ve been bullish on its potential for a while now [https://lnkd.in/gmCmw_MA], it became much more accessible recently: AlphaEvolve is officially in public preview on Google Cloud. We are witnessing a shift from AI that simply "assists" with code or design of algorithms to agentic systems that “autonomously evolve it”. If you’re looking at this technology for your own roadmap, consider these results: • Infrastructure: Recovered 0.7% of global compute resources. • Speed: Accelerated AI training kernels by 23%. • Discovery: Solved math problems stagnant since 1969. By bringing this to the Cloud, Google Cloud is finally closing the gap between "research breakthrough" and "enterprise reality." I suspect 2026 will be the year this "silent" revolution becomes the new standard for efficiency. Or, perhaps it’s just me enamored by the influence of the patterns of #life and the #humanbrain—the very systems that drove our greatest #AI breakthroughs—are now being mirrored in this new development. Either way, the question remains: Are enterprise systems actually ready to harness this evolution, or will it take another year or two to bridge that gap? Let’s see! #AlphaEvolve #DeepMind #GoogleCloud #AlgorithmOptimization #AI2026 #TechLeadership #BioInspiration Alexander Novikov Matej Balog Pushmeet Kohli Oliver Parker Vladimir Vuskovic Anant Nawalgaria Thomas Kurian

🚀 Enterprise AI is entering a new phase: optimizing intelligence for both performance and cost. A new CIO report highlights Snowflake’s addition of dynamic model routing to its Cortex AI Gateway, enabling organizations to automatically select AI models based on cost, performance, and latency requirements. As businesses move AI into production, this represents an important shift. Enterprises are no longer focused only on finding the most powerful model—they are looking for the right model for each workload. What this means for businesses: 💡 AI model selection can directly impact enterprise costs and performance 💡 Organizations can optimize workloads by matching models to specific business requirements 💡 AI infrastructure and governance are becoming critical to scaling AI efficiently At Nakunj Inc., we believe the future of enterprise AI is about making intelligent technology practical, scalable, and cost-effective. Organizations that combine strong data foundations with smart model orchestration, analytics, and AI governance will be better positioned to maximize ROI while scaling AI across the enterprise. #AI #EnterpriseAI #DataAnalytics #AIInfrastructure #GenerativeAI #AIAgents #DigitalTransformation #NakunjInc https://lnkd.in/ggQkKf-h

Are you considering Langfuse? ClickHouse acquired it as the leading open-source LLM engineering platform for observability. Langfuse is monitoring how agents are performing. And what about the execution of the agents? ---------- What's needed to ensure the agents are performing these data and infrastructure tasks correctly? Controlled Environment - A "sandbox" where an agent can safely interact with production-like data (e.g., #Postgres to ClickHouse migrations) without the risks associated with raw LLM output. Operational Efficiency: - Instead of a human writing migration scripts, a harness to direct agents to generate schemas, map types, and move data, significantly reducing manual overhead. Safer AI Practice: - "Guardrails" ensuring agent outputs are validated against real data requirements before execution. ---------- This engineering blog piece from ClickHouse shows the way for your "AI Data Engineer" remaining accurate and cost-efficient (see comments). It shows how fiveonefour acts as the "harness" that makes AI agents viable for production-grade engineering, in a repeatable, safe way.

Keen to share that Confluent has launched Confluent Intelligence, a next-gen platform to close the "AI context gap" in enterprise systems. In my view: "Good AI needs good data. Confluent is our trusted source of truth, streaming high-quality data to our data lakes and AI platforms to train models in real-time. It provides context and orchestration for our agents to automate workflows, accelerating our smart city transformation." Many generative AI initiatives fail because they lack real-time context. Streaming historical + live data is now foundational if AI is to act quickly and meaningfully, proper data platforms have never been so important. For Palmy, where we aim for smart-city, public-sector and real-time workflow environments, this shift means we can move from #reactiveAI to #proactiveAI. If your team is exploring how to ground AI in real-time data streams to deliver meaningful outcomes, this is a development worth watching 🚀 #DataStreaming #RealTimeAI #SmartCities #ContextEngineering https://lnkd.in/gBHXwMGv
