The new integrated platform, ‘There’s No Place Like ITV’, marks a strategic shift as the broadcaster looks to rebalance its marketing and win the battle for the "browsing" audience. What to know 👀 🔹 Research shows that 60% of the time, viewers sit down without a specific show in mind. Super September Smashed All Records At Channel 4 Sales 🚀 🌟 With more than 6 billion streaming viewer minutes in September (up 36% YoY), we were the fastest growing of the leading streaming platforms last month. We’ve carried on the momentum and have now posted our best-ever day on record for streaming views (7.7 million) this Tuesday 👏. And we’re also the biggest streamer among commercial broadcasters for 16-34 viewing this month (460 million viewer minutes). There’s some market-leading linear success to shout about too: 💥 The Great British Bake Off ranked as the number one title across commercial TV in 2025 among 1634 audiences in September (averaging 1.1 million viewers) 💥 Gogglebox won its Friday 9pm linear slot among all broadcasters across September 💥 Educating Yorkshire has won its linear slot for youngs for five weeks in a row taking a 33% share among 1634 audiences

A big misconception about addressable TV is that it’s only for advertisers with big budgets. That just isn’t true. We spoke with Steve Wild head of sales for business development at Sky Media UK who told us that, with budgets starting from £3k, powerful, targeted TV advertising is within reach for every brand. For some agencies, the potential to advertise on the BBC may initially feel like an opportunity. It really isn't. We commissioned a report that illustrated the devastating impact of moving to ad funding on BBC services. It would do untold harm to both the sustainability of the BBC’s own services and commercial radio revenues, which would decline by an estimated 36%. So actually in the end we would have less choice.
