RHOSLC's Jen Shah reveals she's already got new projects in the works as she completes prison sentence

Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah has revealed her federal prison sentence is complete, while teasing some new 'projects' that she's 'incredibly excited about.'
Shah, 52, who was a member of the Bravo hit series for three seasons, plead guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud due to her involvement in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme, and was sentenced to six and a half years in prison.
Shah's sentence was shortened multiple times, resulting in her release on December 10, 2025.
She then served the remainder of her sentence under home confinement with her family in Utah, but completed her federal sentence on Friday.
'Today marks the official completion of my sentence and the closing of a chapter that changed my life and my family forever,' Shah said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
'I made decisions that had serious consequences, and I accept those consequences.
'I’ve had years to look honestly at my own choices - the people I trusted and allowed into my life, the red flags I ignored, the questions I should have asked and the moments when I should have stopped and listened to my instincts.
'I can see those things today in a way I couldn’t then, and I take responsibility for the decisions that were mine.'

Shah was locked up at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, which has been home to a number of celebrity jailbirds, including Jeffrey Epstein's former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell and disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes.
She is still married to her husband of over 30 years, Sharrieff Shah.
'Moving forward doesn’t mean forgetting that real people were hurt or treating the consequences of this chapter lightly,' Shah added in her statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
'I carry that awareness with me, and I always will. But I’ve also learned that acknowledging your past doesn’t mean you have to live in it.
'I can’t change the chapters I’ve already lived, but I can decide what I do with what they taught me.
'Today, more than anything, I feel grateful, hopeful and genuinely excited about the future.'
Shah also told the outlet that she is 'looking forward to having [her] voice back.'
'For a very long time, I wasn’t in a position to speak for myself while my story continued to be told around me,' she shared.

Shah teased upcoming 'projects' that she's 'incredibly excited about' in a statement
'There is a lot people know about my story, and there is also a lot they don’t - including the reasons behind some of the most difficult decisions I made,' as she added that she was only interested in her next chapter.
Shah also shared that she was ready to start working again.
'There are projects ahead that I’m incredibly excited about, and I’ll share more when the time is right,' she teased.
Shah's arrest in March 2021 was famously captured on Bravo cameras during season two of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
However, it doesn't look like she will be coming back to the network anytime soon.
During a December 2025 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Bravo host Andy Cohen shared that he would not have her back on RHOSLC.
'There has to be a line,' Cohen said on Andy Cohen Live.
In addition to her prison time, Shah was ordered to pay more than $6.5 million in restitution.
She initially proclaimed her innocence, even doubling down during reunion specials, but ultimately changed her plea to guilty in July 2022 – months after her former assistant and co-conspirator, Stuart Smith, admitted his role.
