Brooklyn Beckham jumped to Nicola Peltz's defence and warned 'don't ever talk about my wife' in an online row about her weight.

The aspiring chef, 27, hit back in the comments section of his latest Instagram cookery tutorial after one follower asked: 'Do you comment on everyone who is concerned about your wife and how sickly she looks? 

'She puts herself out there, feed her.' 

Brooklyn replied: 'Don't ever talk about my wife. She's absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman's body. It's disgraceful.' 

The hot sauce entrepreneur has been married to Nicola, 31, since 2022 and they renewed their vows last year in the wake of their ongoing feud with his family. 

Nicola has lost weight specifically for her role in indie drama Prima.

She is playing the lead role - a ballerina called Margo - and to fully embody her character, Nicola has committed to a strict diet and an intensive training regimen.

One follower asked: 'Do you comment on everyone who is concerned about your wife and how sickly she looks? She puts herself out there, feed her'

Brooklyn said: 'Don't ever talk about my wife. She's absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman's body. It's disgraceful'. 

As well as sticking up for his wife, the eldest son of David and Victoria also responded to followers criticising his homemade cottage pie in the cookery video, as he told them: 'I'm obviously not a professional chef.' 

Brooklyn received plenty of advice with what he could do to improve the recipe as they branded it 'watery'.  

His followers told him the mincemeat should be drained properly and needed to be cooled before the potato was added, while others said he needed to add a good sprinkling of cheese on top. 

Fans wrote in the comments: 'Mate this isn't criticism, it's advice. The reason it's sunk is because you need to wait for the mince to completely cool down before putting on your potato. Still a lovely dish though';

'You need to fry off all the liquid from your meat so you can brown it properly'; 

'Looks like your mash is too wet and your dish is too big. Try a shallow dish maybe a Pyrex dish might be better'; 'I love when my meat pies are pure water…';

Some were surprised Brooklyn decided to cut his potatoes with skin on and only remove the skin once he had boiled them.

They said: 'Why would he not peel the potatoes before?';

'I had to look away when he started doing the potatoes'. 

Others were impressed by Brooklyn's culinary skills as they said: 'That looks delicious!!' and 'Great chopping skills. Yum.' 

Responding to the comments, he wrote: 'I'm obviously not a professional chef haha. Just love cooking and eating. Love all the lovely comments.

'Also if anyone has noticed I LOVE making easy comfort food. My favourite.'

While Brooklyn has been busy making comfort food, Nicola has committed to a strict diet and an intensive training regimen to fully embody her ballerina character.

She completed four months of rigorous ballet training for the role, which reportedly resulted in her weight dropping to under 100 pounds.

In addition to her dance preparation, she spent time in the gym to prepare for her part alongside Oscar award-winner, Faye Dunaway. 

Nicola, who also appeared in the 2024 film Lola, chose to lose the weight on her own terms and has ruled out the use of weight-loss injections such as Ozempic.

Responding to the comments, he wrote: 'I'm obviously not a professional chef haha. Just love cooking and eating. Love all the lovely comments' 

A source said at the time: 'Nicola was committed to getting things exactly right for this role and it just proves her determination and dedication.'

They continued: 'There was also no way she was ever going to use the fat jab and so she's done the work all herself.

'There had been speculation about why she had been losing weight, especially given the recent events in her personal life but now everything makes perfect sense.'

Yet fans questioned if her shrinking figure was down to using weight loss jabs or because of her ongoing rift with husband Brooklyn's family. 

But the announcement of latest role put such speculation to bed. Prima is currently under production with a release date yet to be announced. 

Earlier this month, Brooklyn horrified fans with another of his cooking videos, which saw him creating a pasta dish using seawater during his stay on a luxury yacht.

It comes after reports Brooklyn and Nicola will reportedly no longer celebrate their first wedding due to the 'bad memories it holds'.

Sources close to the couple have claimed their April 2022 wedding, that was attended by his family, is not an 'occasion they look back on fondly'.

The couple officially tied the knot at a three-day extravaganza at the Peltz family Palm Beach estate in April 2022 in front of 500 guests.

They later renewed their vows in August last year – and pointedly did not invite the Beckham family.

In another swipe at his estranged parents, Brooklyn and Nicola will now see their secret second wedding as their 'official' anniversary.

Brooklyn failed to post a tribute to Nicola on their original anniversary this April, while Nicola has never marked the celebration.

But the pair both marked their new anniversary in an Instagram post.

A source said: 'Brooklyn and Nicola's first wedding in April 2022 is not an occasion they look back on fondly. Nicola ended up in tears. It's not something they want to be reminded of.

'Their second wedding, where they renewed their vows last August with just her family and their friends, does hold so many happy memories however.

'Going forwards, they’ve decided that this is the date they will celebrate publicly together,' they added to The Sun.

The Daily Mail has approached Nicola, Brooklyn and the Beckhams for comment.

In Brooklyn's scathing bombshell statement earlier this year, the eldest Beckham son explained that he and Nicola hosted a vow renewal without his family, as they wanted to 'create new memories that bring us joy and happiness' after Victoria ruined their wedding.

In his statement in January, Brooklyn detailed the 'anxiety and embarrassment' he felt when Victoria hijacked their first dance and called him 'evil' when she wasn't seated at his table.

He wrote: 'During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me ''evil'' because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola's Naunni at our table, because they both didn't have their husbands.

'Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours. The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was "not blood" and "not family."

'My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.

'In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.

'She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.

'We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.'
