We are so excited to partner with Children's Museum of Pittsburgh to bring a new exhibit, It’s a Beautiful Day to Be You: Inspired by Mister Rogers, Daniel Tiger & Donkey Hodie, to families this fall. Opening on October 3, 2026, the new exhibition is supported by Lilly Endowment Inc. with a focus on helping children discover and explore what it means to be kind, curious, persistent, creative, collaborative, and brave through play and discovery. https://lnkd.in/e6TGE2bp

Do you like rainbows? Do you like trees? Do you love highly accessible games that feature PBS KIDS' first playable character in a power wheelchair? Well then Fred Rogers Productions has the game for you! Donkey Hodie's "Rainbow Tree Treasures" is now available to play on the PBS KIDS website and app!! It was a privilege to hop on to producing this game started by Jan Vinopal & Johnny VanDerschaaf and take it to the finish line. This was a gargantuan team effort with a mind-boggling amount of art, animation and dev to bring the world of Donkey, Jeff, Panda and the Rainbow Tree to life. Thanks to the non-online Ben Wilson so, so much design work. Yolanda Martinez for oodles of illustration Thorin Kafka & Hector Lopez for animating a record amount of characters and micro-interactions that made me laugh out loud! Kyle Foote & Christopher Partee for developing a massive game and squashing bugs upon bugs Gabrielle Yeager, the caption queen And of course, thanks to the Donkey Hodie team and PBS KIDS, including Melanie Harke , Ana Acosta Ruiz, Rubin Soodak, Kristin DiQuollo & Marissa Doerger for this amazing project that prioritized and centered a disabled character and providing an equitable gaming experience for all. It's an honor to have a small part of bringing this game into the world and giving Jeff Mouse a seemingly endless ramp up Rainbow Tree. Jack Rowley is the digital asset manager for Fred Rogers Productions, where he oversees our extensive archives. He has also written several episodes of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood including the fan-favorite, “Daniel Wants to be Alone” which introduced a valuable social-emotional strategy for children and adults: "Sometimes you want to be alone. Fred Rogers Productions mourns the passing of longtime board member Harry Henninger, Jr. Harry’s family famously operated Kennywood Park for generations. As CEO, he also guided the growth of Idlewild, the beloved amusement park and treasured landmark in Fred Rogers' hometown of Latrobe. We remain profoundly grateful for Harry's friendship and his years of dedicated service, leadership, and vision on our board. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.
