When you operate massive assembly plants, high-tech design centers, and big corporate offices like we do at General Motors, how you power them has a real impact — on our bottom line and on the communities where we live and work. That’s why I’m so excited that in 2025 we achieved a major milestone: we secured enough #renewableenergy to match 100% of our electricity use across all our U.S. facilities, making GM the first U.S. automaker to reach this goal. As we also ensure a 1:1 match for all electricity used by our U.S. operations, we prioritize projects on the same regional grid as our facilities. Globally, we matched 70% of our electricity use with renewables. We’ve been working toward this for a decade, and I’m especially proud that GM is now the first automaker to achieve this 100% renewable energy milestone in our home market. What we’ve learned along the way is that the renewable energy transition is about doing well for our business and doing good for our communities. Renewable energy has helped provide price stability, support a more dependable grid, and reduce reliance on foreign energy imports — all while generating nearly $2 billion in economic impact since 2015 and helping us reduce our operational emissions by 52% since 2018. And, it’s the right thing to do. Big thank you to Rob Threlkeld, Taylor Searcy, Monica Walker, Daniel Jarratt, and all the GM people who helped make this happen. Across the country, we’ve been investing in dealerships through the training, retention and recruitment of more technicians. Working directly with high schools, colleges and our Shifting Gears program, we’re always looking for new ways to bring in more skill and education to help GM customers. And as Aaron Charbonneau, our Director of Dealer Service and Warranty Operations, said, we’d take 1,000 more technicians tomorrow if we could. Q1 sales results are in, and General Motors is once again the industry sales leader in the U.S. and Canada. Over the past few months, our teams and dealers have turned early headwinds into real momentum. In the U.S., we retained our full-size pickup leadership, delivered record fleet sales and remain the industry’s #2 EV seller. We also reinforced our position as a value leader, with six Chevrolet and Buick models starting around $30,000 or less – including the Chevrolet Bolt, America’s lowest-priced EV. In Canada, GM led the industry in full-size pickup sales while also growing SUV sales. Building on our position as Canada’s EV sales leader in 2025, we continued to see solid momentum across our electric lineup, from affordable to luxury choices. There is no such thing as a “normal” year in this industry. Adapting to change isn’t just something we do – it’s a superpower at General Motors. Our agility, the strength of our portfolio, and the discipline in how we go to market continue to set us apart. Thank you to our customers, dealers, partners, and teams whose hard work and adaptability helped us achieve these results.

Grand Sport is back. Today we’re revealing the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport and Grand Sport X—two new mid-engine Corvettes that carry one of the most storied names in American motorsport into a new era, both powered by the next-generation LS6 6.7L V8. Historically the Corvette for drivers who want race-car spirit every day, the new Grand Sport family pairs heritage-rich design with the most advanced Corvette technologies we’ve ever offered. Together, Stingray and the Grand Sport family are expected to represent the vast majority of Corvette sales. The Grand Sport delivers 535 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque with classic, naturally aspirated V8 character, while the Grand Sport X adds eAWD technology derived from the ZR1X for a combined 721 hp. The LS6 is the most powerful standard Corvette engine ever: a 6.7L (409 cu in) V8 built at GM’s Flint Engine Operations—the same city that produced the first Corvette V8 in 1955. It doesn’t just power the Grand Sport family; it launches GM’s next generation of V8s and sets the stage for what comes next across our lineup. #IWorkForChevy https://lnkd.in/d7s7X7qM

Behind every General Motors vehicle is a team that goes above and beyond for our customers. That’s what happens every day at our Lansing Delta Township (LDT) plant. Our LDT team builds 1,100 award-winning SUVs each day—one Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, or Buick Enclave every minute. The results speak for themselves. Traverse achieved its highest sales ever last year, Acadia was named the Best Three-Row Midsize SUV for Families by U.S. News & World Report, and Enclave was ranked the top upper midsize SUV in the 2026 J.D. Power U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study. To everyone across our global team who pours creativity, craftsmanship, and care into every product we build: thank you. Your dedication is why our vehicles are recognized—and why our customers choose GM.

Our Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing, Michael Trevorrow, met up with the team in Flint, MI – the same place where his GM career began – to get some hands-on experience with today’s technology. We wouldn’t be able to make amazing products people love without the incredible commitment of team members like Sean, Jason, Sherman, Donovan and Kurt, so thank you for sharing what you do every day.
