Great people, great conversation, great food! Shoutout to the amazing members of our Operations team for being the inaugural session of the Leadership Lunch series!
One of the things I care deeply about as Brand President is making sure Popeyes continues to be a place where our people feel connected, heard, and inspired. As we focus on strengthening engagement across the business, I’m excited to introduce a new internal initiative: our Leadership Lunch Series. Each month, I bring together team members from across the organization in a more personal, open setting. The goal is simple – create space for real conversations, fresh perspectives, and stronger connections. I firmly believe that when we create more opportunities for our teams to engage directly with leadership, we unlock bolder ideas, stronger culture, and a better future for our brand. Matt brings nearly 11 years of experience with RBI and a deep understanding of the Popeyes brand, our guests, and the QSR landscape. Most recently serving as Popeyes Chief Digital Officer, Matt has also led Marketing Analytics for Popeyes U.S. & Canada and served as Chief Marketing Officer for RBI’s brands in APAC, where he helped deliver strong results across sales, traffic, and franchise profitability. After 18 incredible years with Popeyes, we’re celebrating Amy Alarcon and the lasting impact she’s had on our brand. From leading her team through the development of our beloved Popeyes Chicken Sandwich to shaping iconic menu innovations, Amy’s passion for Louisiana-inspired flavor helped define who we are today. As Amy begins her next chapter as Head Chef U.S. & Canada at our sister brand Burger King, we’re grateful for everything she’s built and proud to see her continue her journey within the RBI family.
