Every day at Lincoln, I have the privilege of working alongside remarkable women whose leadership, expertise, and commitment continue to elevate our company and the work we do for our customers and communities. At home, I’m blessed to be surrounded by incredible women — a wonderful wife, two strong and inspiring daughters, and a gorgeous granddaughter who reminds me why building a more inclusive, opportunity-filled future truly matters. Today, and always, I’m proud to stand in support of the women who make our workplaces, families, and communities better. #WomensHistoryMonth

Adrian Butler liked thisI’m thrilled to announce that I’m joining Lincoln Financial as Chief AI, Data and Analytics Officer. What excites me most is combining what Lincoln Financial has done exceptionally well for over 120 years while reimagining how AI can create deeper, more lasting relationships with our customers. I’m excited to partner with CEO Ellen Cooper , CHRO Sean N. Woodroffe, SHRM-SCP , and the rest of the Lincoln Financial leadership team to make this transformation a reality. Together, we’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible. Of course, this requires exceptional builders. If you’re passionate about AI/ML/data engineering, data science, or building AI products that drive real business impact—I want to hear from you. Whether you’re an architect who thinks in systems, a data scientist who loves solving hard problems, a product manager who loves to build amazing experiences or an engineer who wants to build at scale, let’s connect. The opportunity ahead is immense. Let’s build something extraordinary together.Adrian Butler liked thisWe’re excited for Nilanjan Adhya (Neel) to join us in the coming weeks as Executive Vice President, Chief AI, Data and Analytics Officer. “As we continue to position Lincoln for future growth, we are building the foundational capabilities that will allow us to operate with greater speed, efficiency and insight. To her, this profession is agile, thought-provoking, serious and deeply meaningful. At its best, HR changes lives. That belief has shaped her more than forty-year career leading people strategy, enterprise transformation and culture-building across multiple industries. Her journey began in retail and early HR leadership roles, later expanding through organisations such as Woodward & Lothrop, BT Ginns, Thomson Learning and Thomson Reuters. These formative years grounded her philosophy that people strategy is business strategy, and that meaningful transformation begins where human behaviour, organisational design and technology intersect. At Lincoln Financial Group Trust Co Inc, where she served for more than a decade as EVP, Chief People, Place & Brand Officer, she led one of the most integrated people and enterprise portfolios in the industry. HR, total rewards, corporate brand, communications, CSR, facilities, aviation and strategic real estate came together under a single vision—driven by her commitment to excellence, humanity and innovation. She later brought her expertise to the U.S. Soccer Federation as CHRO, supporting athletes, coaches and professionals across the organisation, including the relocation of its headquarters and the National Training Center. Her work reinforced her belief that culture and capability must move in alignment. Today, as Global Chief People & Culture Officer at Vialto Partners, Lisa continues to shape a modern people strategy that integrates global mobility, technology, talent, inclusion and leadership development. Her approach keeps the human at the centre while embracing AI and digital solutions that elevate employee and manager experience. Across this extraordinary journey, she has been honoured as a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, a Fellow of the HR Policy Institute, HR Executive of the Year, and a three-time N2Growth Top CHRO. These recognitions reflect the collective achievements of the teams, leaders and organisations she has partnered with—and the deep impact of her approach to leadership. More than four decades later, her belief remains unchanged: HR is a catalyst for growth, a steward of culture and a force that can accelerate human and organisational potential. HR TODAY proudly celebrates her leadership and impact, and looks forward to the next chapters she will shape. I appreciated the opportunity to connect with peers, exchange best practices and challenge ourselves to grow as leaders for our teams and the business. A personal highlight was participating in a panel discussion with other senior leaders where we shared our own leadership journeys and lessons learned. I'm grateful for the opportunity to laugh, learn and continue evolving alongside such a talented group and I'm excited to bring the insights from the meeting back to my team and keep pushing our collective potential forward.

For some reason- this year feels more difficult than others. Sadly -9/11 is more a “work anniversary” for me with weekly business trips to 195 Broadway St NYC. My career was exciting and the juggle with 2 toddlers hectic - but this event stopped my world and forever changed the world. As we pause to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, and the courage of first responders - I take time every year to reconnect, remember & acknowledge the resilience on that day, of my work colleagues from Thomson ~ thinking of you all Deborah DeVerna Chris Perry Jay Spach Adrian Butler Christine Sheedy Randy Flax Lorie Kmetz Jamie Brady Valeria Rubini Chris Elkhill Tim Bennett Carin Soderberg Stephanie Moring Paul Hewitt Jocelyn Keegan Douglas Spencer (he/him) Jo-Anne McCarthy Tom Brien Jon Stonis & so many others. In the face of unimaginable loss, we witnessed unity, compassion, and strength. May we continue to carry forward the spirit of service and remembrance. #NeverForget #911Anniversary #HonorAndRemember

The background screening industry has always moved with the economy. When hiring surges, screening volume rises. When the market tightens, employers become even more focused on risk mitigation and compliance. Right now, we’re seeing both dynamics at play. Recent industry studies continue to highlight several trends shaping the future of screening: • Increased focus on FCRA compliance and regulatory expectations • Greater use of consistent adjudication frameworks and individualized assessments • Continued emphasis on data accuracy and proper research methodology Background screening sits at the intersection of employment, compliance, and consumer protection. Regardless of economic cycles, employers still need accurate information and defensible hiring processes. Organizations that treat screening as a strategic risk management function—not just a transactional step—will build stronger hiring programs in the long run. Do you have AI colleagues on your team? Not AI tools. Not AI assistants. AI colleagues. Here's what I mean: We're entering an era where AI agents aren't just supporting our work—they're becoming integral team members. The question isn't whether you're using AI, but whether you're developing your AI colleagues with the same intentionality you bring to developing human talent. Think about it: - Do you onboard your AI agents to understand your team's culture and goals? - Are you iterating and improving their capabilities based on performance? - Do you measure their impact on team outcomes? This evolution in how we think about AI connects directly to how we're transforming leadership development itself. In Brandon Hall Group's latest Excellence at Work Podcast, Michael Rochelle spoke with Katrin Mulford (SVP at BTS) and Christine Tao (Co-founder of Sounding Board) about democratizing coaching beyond the executive level and using AI to enhance coaching practices at scale. Their insights on making coaching accessible to leaders at all levels—not just executives—parallel this shift in thinking about AI. Just as coaching is no longer reserved for the C-suite, AI partnership shouldn't be limited to basic task automation. 🎧 Listen to the full conversation about the future of leadership development, AI-enhanced coaching, and driving cultural transformation: https://lnkd.in/eytckrU7 How are you thinking about AI on your team? As tools or as colleagues? #LeadershipDevelopment #AITransformation #FutureOfWork #Coaching #BrandonHallGroup #ExcellenceAtWork
