  • Feedback Controller Design for Linear Plant Model

    Identified the plant model using Sine-Sweep method and feedback controller is designed for linear system using optimal control method LQR to satisfy the given loop-shaping conditions and reference tracking conditions.

  • Forward & Reverse Dynamical Analysis of Human Walking Model

    • Performed inverse/forward dynamics simulations utilizing Motion-Genesis software to generate equations of motion.
    • Modeled head and torso as a cuboid and legs as cylinders to simplify geometrical dimensioning calculations.
    • Performed sensitivity analysis to study the effect of leg length on torque at the hip joint.

  • Reverse Analysis of Robot Cincinnati Milacron T3-776

    • Calculated 8 possible sets of values of joint angles for 6-arm mechanism with given constant values of link lengths, twist angles, input & output joint angles and hypothetical closure link parameters.

  • Design and Fabrication of Flexural Based Linear Guideway for MicroDrilling Workstation

    • Developed economic alternative for micro-drilling process using flexural discs of material Beryllium-Copper.
    • Analyzed the CAD drawing of proposed micro-drilling machine utilizing Finite Element Analysis.
    • Developed the working prototype of the product which can drill holes accurately up to 0.2 mm diameter in acrylic sheet.

    Performed the theoretical role of Procurement Manager while working with a team consisting of 10 members. Team designed and analyzed each part of EOT crane separately with the help of CATIA & ANSYS. Awarded best team among class by the instructor.

  • Nonlinear System Feedback DCAL Controller Design

    • Designed a link position tracking controller considering sensor noise for a 2-link direct drive robot.
    • Generated torque commands using designed controller to individual robot links based on adaptive estimates of the system parameters.
    • Performed stability analysis based on Lyapunov Stability Theory and presented Simulink results to demonstrate the effectiveness of designed controller.

  • Effect of atmospheric drag on Hohmann transfer

    • Calculated forward dynamics of the Hohmann transfer utilizing Runge-Kutta (RK4) numerical integrator.
    • Implemented state estimation and a-priori information to plot the circular and elliptical transfer orbits with and without the effect of atmospheric drag and solar radiation pressure.
    • Tracked the orbital position and velocity using navigation system comprising of 24-GPS satellites.

  • Case Study: Design the Air Conditioning Plan for Given Building.

    With given floor area and room specifications of the building, designed the air conditioning plan in five stages using softwares Carrier HAP, McQuay (Ductsizer, Pipesizer, Psychrometric Analyzer)
