Andy Tay shared thisSuper proud to see Accenture recognised as the #1 company on Forbes' World's Best Management Consulting Firms 2026 list. In a time when every organisation is exploring how AI, data and technology can reshape their business, the real challenge isn't just adopting new tools. Lasting value requires more than technology alone. It takes deep industry expertise, innovation, and human ingenuity working together to help clients move faster, grow, and create sustainable outcomes. Helping organisations build a strong digital core, harness the power of data and AI, and reinvent how they operate creates the foundation for continuous reinvention and new sources of value and I'm incredibly proud of the work our teams do every day alongside clients to turn that vision into reality. Thank you to our clients, teams, and partners who make this possible. https://lnkd.in/eQxHNxww

Andy Tay shared thisReally excited about the announcement of our Accenture partnership with Salford City FC this week. Having spent a good number of weekends over the years around both rugby and football (or soccer, as I now have to call it living in the US), one thing has always stood out to me: great clubs, and performances, are built on more than what happens on the pitch. They thrive because of the connections and experiences they create with supporters, communities, partners, and future generations of fans. That's why this partnership is so compelling. Working alongside Salford City FC, we will bring together data, AI, and technology to help strengthen supporter engagement, create new opportunities for growth, and build a platform for the club's future. From enhancing operations to evolving fan platforms and digital experiences, this partnership is about using technology to create more meaningful experiences and support the club's ambitious growth journey. Whether it's football, rugby, tennis or golf, I'm seeing the same trend across sports: organisations are looking for new ways to deepen engagement, better understand their audiences and unlock sustainable growth through a robust digital core powered by AI and data. Looking forward to what we'll build together with Salford City FC and seeing the impact for supporters both locally and around the world. https://lnkd.in/gmNV8cyqAccenture and Salford City Football Club Announce Partnership to Accelerate a New Era of Reinvention and GrowthAccenture and Salford City Football Club Announce Partnership to Accelerate a New Era of Reinvention and Growth

Andy Tay shared thisIn the AI era, cloud powers the Digital Core, the technology foundation that moves companies from simply running the business to reinventing it. Which is why this recognition matters. Super proud to share that for the 6th consecutive year, Accenture has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Optimization and Transformation Services and placed highest on Ability to Execute and furthest on Completeness of Vision across all 17 providers. And in the companion Gartner Critical Capabilities report, Accenture scored highest across all six use cases: - Strategic Cloud Transformation - Rapid Data Center Exit (Lift-and-Shift) - Strategic TCO Reduction (Lift-and-Optimize) - Agile Cloud-Native DevOps - Managed Application - Efficient Operations None of this would be possible without our Clients; huge thank you for your trust! Equally, we are only as good as our Partners; massive thanks to all our technology ecosystem Partners! Super proud of the team. 🙌 #Accenture #EcosystemPartners #DigitalCore #Cloud #AI #CloudFirst #GartnerMagicQuadrant

Andy Tay shared thisFalling AI costs should make AI cheaper. Yet for many organisations, AI spend continues to rise. That's not a contradiction. It's a sign that demand is growing faster than efficiency gains. As AI becomes embedded across more workflows, teams and business processes, the question is no longer just what AI costs. It's whether the value created justifies the investment. That's why I found this perspective on AI Tokenomics particularly relevant. Tokenomics is about connecting AI consumption to business outcomes and providing a framework for understanding where value is being created as adoption accelerates. The next AI advantage won't come from simply deploying bigger models. It will come from managing AI as an economic system and making smarter decisions about how AI is scaled across the enterprise. The goal is not just managing cost, but maximising value. Andy Tay shared thisMany mid-market companies are navigating how to adopt AI, modernise operations and scale, often with the same complexity as larger enterprises. But many are still caught between ambition and execution. That’s why we’re launching Accenture Edge. We’re bringing the strength of our enterprise transformation experience, along with our platforms, assets and industry expertise, into a model that is right-sized and built for how mid-market organisations actually operate. This is not about extending the enterprise playbook as-is. It’s about delivering platform-led, ready-to-deploy solutions that help companies move faster, modernise core systems, adopt AI and simplify operations. Accenture Edge is designed to help clients move from strategy to execution with greater speed and clarity. https://lnkd.in/gq2GPS-NAccenture Launches Accenture Edge to Help Mid-Market Companies Harness AI and Reinvent How They OperateAccenture Launches Accenture Edge to Help Mid-Market Companies Harness AI and Reinvent How They Operate

Andy Tay shared thisAI is accelerating faster than most organisations can absorb - one thing we are seeing across clients is ‘data’ showing up as a constraint. With the shift from experimentation to tech reinvention at scale, it really starts with getting ‘data’ right. AI-ready data is about how data is structured, governed, and made usable across the business. In a new Accenture report, we found that only 7% surveyed have progressed far enough in building AI-ready data capabilities required for scaled AI adoption of advanced AI. A strong data strategy, clear governance and an operating model that can scale goes a long way. That’s where we’re seeing the biggest impact and the organisations that get this right won’t just adopt AI. They’ll operationalise it. Curious where others are focusing: what’s been the biggest blocker to making data truly AI-ready? Andy Tay shared thisGreat to spend time yesterday with Lula Samuel and the Seattle Accenture team for a Juneteenth leadership panel. Thank you to Trévaun Reeves and the PNW African American Employee Resource Group for bringing us together — these conversations matter. Juneteenth is both a moment to recognize the significance of June 19, 1865, and a reminder that progress requires continued awareness, dialogue, and action. Proud to be part of a community that leans into these discussions and keeps pushing forward — with intention. #Juneteenth #Leadership #Inclusion

Andy Tay shared thisCIO Online recently published a piece on IT modernization traps, including a perspective I shared on cloud transformation. What we’re seeing more clearly now is that modernization isn’t a milestone, but a continuous discipline. Without ongoing modernization across architecture, data, operating models, talent and ways of working, technology investments struggle to deliver sustained business value or support AI at scale. That’s where the concept of the digital core becomes critical. It’s not just a set of systems, but the foundation that enables intelligence to flow from signal to action across the enterprise. As organizations push into AI and more agentic models, the real constraint isn’t access to technology, but whether the digital core is ready to support continuous reinvention and real-time decision making. The organizations getting this right are treating modernization as an ongoing capability, building a digital core that can evolve as fast as the business and turn intelligence into growth. Worth a read for leaders navigating the next phase of modernization: https://lnkd.in/eVUefj2a.

Andy Tay shared thisAs AI innovation accelerates, the strength of your ecosystem is becoming a defining competitive advantage. It was great spending time last week at the Accenture Oracle Leadership Council with clients discussing how leaders are modernizing their digital core to scale AI and deliver real outcomes in mission‑critical environments. A highlight for me was the conversation with Sara Eaton (McKesson / Ontada) and Alex U. (Microsoft) on how Ontada is using Oracle as a data backbone, working closely with Microsoft through Oracle Database@Azure, to turn trusted cancer care data into insights that help save lives. We discussed how Ontada moved quickly to the cloud using Oracle as a data backbone, focusing not on disruption but on governance and continuity so teams could move faster and safer. Sara shared how data accessibility and AI are improving patient and clinician experiences, while Alex reinforced what it takes to scale these platforms responsibly at an enterprise level. Ontada’s journey is a strong reminder that modernization is the starting point and that a secure digital core enables speed, optionality, and better outcomes without sacrificing trust. Andy Tay liked thisAndy Tay liked thisLast week, Equinix announced an additional $28 million investment to expand our BG2 facility in Bogotá, effectively doubling its capacity. Our customers are growing, and we want to grow with them. Businesses across the region are moving quickly to embrace cloud, AI, and data analytics. And while I was in Bogotá, I heard customers talk about how they’re thinking about more than adding capacity. They’re thinking about how the right digital infrastructure helps them scale, connect to new markets, and compete globally. Colombia has an increasingly vibrant technology ecosystem and plays an important role in connecting the Andean region to the broader digital economy. Just as inspiring was the opportunity to spend quality time with our teams on the ground. Their energy, expertise and connection to our customers reinforced what I’ve heard throughout my visit: there’s a lot to be excited about in Colombia. And our teams are ready to help build the foundation for what’s coming next. Andy Tay liked thisAndy Tay liked thisCustomer demand for AI keeps accelerating. As organizations move from experimentation to production, they need infrastructure that can keep pace. That’s why we’re expanding our work with Jensen Huang and NVIDIA today. We're planning to deploy 2 million additional NVIDIA GPUs across AWS global infrastructure in 2027 and 2028, and build AI factories for the U.S. Government with 100,000 GPUs on secure AWS infrastructure. This is a significant investment, and the reason is simple. Customers wants to deploy their production AI workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Our work runs deeper than compute. It spans networking, open models, data processing, and robotics. Customers run more NVIDIA GPU-accelerated workloads on AWS than anywhere else because no one matches our reliability, security, and availability at this scale. Sixteen years in, and we're still finding new ways to innovate together. Full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/eurSikFf

Andy Tay liked thisAndy Tay liked thisAI is showing up in layoffs before it shows up in earnings. More than 100,000 announced job cuts in the first half of 2026 cited AI. Yet Goldman Sachs found that in Q2 earnings, 46% of S&P 500 companies talked about AI in the context of productivity or efficiency, 11% quantified the impact in a specific use case, and only 2% quantified an impact on earnings. The problem is that the decisions are moving faster than the evidence. Companies are already making workforce decisions based on the value they expect AI to create, while very few can yet show that value in the P&L. The spending data adds another dimension. Goldman cites the Ramp AI Index, where median AI spending per employee has gone from $5 a month at the start of the year to about $12 in July. At the top decile, it is already $650. So why is the earnings impact still at 2%? Our research at Accenture points to part of the answer. 86% of organizations plan to increase AI investment this year, but only 21% have redesigned end-to-end processes with AI at the core. National Bureau of Economic Research's survey of nearly 6,000 executives found that 89% reported no impact from AI on labor productivity over the last three years. For a long time we called this a pilot problem. It is a value-realization problem, and solving it requires reinvention. Organizations that bolt AI onto existing ways of working will struggle to move the P&L. The ones bold enough to reinvent the work, the workforce, and the workbench (the technology) around AI, then deploy at scale, are the ones who will turn productivity into earnings. The ones that hire and partner with AI engineering talent, industry and process expertise with solutions that focus on adding replicable value will be the future winners. The real test will be how long it takes for more than just 2% of the S&P 500 companies to start showing that AI impacted their earnings. Comment "data" below if you want the links to the sources. Andy Tay liked thisAndy Tay liked thisGreat to be onsite with Jeff Robinson from BlueScope earlier this morning, joined by SOTO's Head of Mechanical, Braeden Wilson. Opportunities like this are exactly why we invest heavily in strategic account management and maintaining close relationships with our customers. This engineering challenge landed less than 48 hours ago, yet our team was already on site, engaging with stakeholders and working to understand the problem firsthand. At SOTO, our customers don't come to us for the easy jobs. They engage us when the challenge is complex, time-critical, or when conventional solutions have fallen short. Our strength lies in combining deep technical expertise with agility, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering outcomes in environments where others often struggle to execute. I’m a problem solver at heart, and there are no shortages of important problems to tackle in healthcare.

Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to complex challenges that require clear thinking, strong teams, and disciplined execution. In prior roles, including my time at Accenture, I had the opportunity to help build and scale hypergrowth offerings — experiences that reinforced for me that sustainable growth happens when strategy, execution, and people development are tightly aligned.

Today, I serve as Payer Lead at Optum Advisory, where I’m focused on helping healthcare organizations grow, adapt, and deliver meaningful outcomes for the people they serve. What excites me most is the opportunity we have to help shape the future of health by leveraging our capabilities and experiences across all of Optum.

I’m naturally curious and tend to ask a lot of questions. I believe the best solutions come from diverse perspectives, thoughtful dialogue, and a shared commitment to delivering results together. I also believe high performance and humanity go hand in hand — we do serious work, but we don’t have to take ourselves too seriously.

Outside of work, I’m fortunate to have an amazing wife, two kids, and a dog who keep life busy and fun. Excellent discussion at the Accenture GCC Convergence event co-hosted with our partners at ANSR. Much appreciation to Jimit Arora for sharing the research-backed Everest Group perspective on the state of GCCs. Two points to underscore from Jimit's remarks: 1. The best GCCs are not HQ2 (because they repeat the ills of HQ1). The bigger play is reverse cultural immersion. When tech, data, and business leaders operate together in a co-located GCC ecosystem — alongside partners — they develop faster, more integrated ways of working. The flow of learning shouldn’t be one-way. Increasingly, GCCs can reshape how HQ operates — more cross-functional, more digital, more ecosystem-oriented. 2. It’s not GCCs vs. third parties. The future is best-sourcing. Focus company talent on distinctive capabilities that drive differentiation, growth and innovation. Leverage partners for technology, automation, and AI to reimagine work that is measurable, repeatable, and transactional. This isn’t a trade-off — it’s multiplication of impact. The shift is clear: from scale to advantage. #GCC #GlobalCapabilityCenters #BestSourcing #AI #OperatingModel
