Ely Pinto - CISM, CISSP, CEH liked thisThere are sessions… and then there are experiences. The first-ever Information Technology Alliance (ITA) AI Prompt-a-Thon was the latter. What made it different wasn’t just the topic. It was how it came to life. The room was energized, competitive, and fully engaged as we turned AI from theory into something real. Hands-on. Practical. Immediate. I had the privilege of sharing the stage with Ellen Choi, representing Anchin and the Spring 2026 ITA Collaborative. Together, we worked with an incredible mix of Consulting and Reselling firms, Client Accounting Services, Consultants to the Profession, Technology Partners, and Internal Technology Leaders. We didn’t just talk about AI. We built with it. We introduced structured frameworks for prompting and immediately put them into action through real-world use cases. Teams collaborated, tested ideas, refined outputs, and pushed each other to think differently. The room got competitive in the best way possible. What stood out most was how the winning teams approached the challenge. They didn’t rely on a single tool or a basic prompt. They combined multiple AI systems, layered their thinking, and produced outputs that were not only creative but highly accurate. That’s when it clicked for many in the room. AI isn’t just about access. It’s about approach. If you want better results from AI, you need a framework. The quality of your output is directly tied to how you structure your thinking, guide the model, and iterate. That’s the difference between surface-level results and something truly impactful. The entire room learned from each other. Ideas were shared. Approaches were challenged. And people walked away with something they can immediately apply in their day-to-day work. That’s the power of this community. I’m proud to say we’ve won the 2026 Cyber Insurtech of the Year award at this year’s Intelligent Insurer Cyber Insurance awards. Cyber insurance carriers are some of the most data-driven buyers in the market. Their business depends on getting risk right across underwriting, pricing, and portfolio exposure, and they have no room for weak signals. Being a core part of how they operate is a great validation of what we’re building in cyber risk intelligence.
