Michael Chou shared thisI'm very proud of what our team built here with Agentic AI outbound agents for patient scheduling. Our pilot customers saw some impressive results and were amazing partners along the way.Michael Chou shared thisReferrals get scheduled. Missed appointments get rebooked. Care gaps get closed. All without a staff member working a call list. Luma's Summer '26 release expands agentic outreach so Navigator can rebook missed visits and close care gaps by voice or SMS. Coming soon: agentic scheduling referrals and closing the loop with the referring provider. The results so far: • At CLS Health, agentic outreach rescheduled canceled appointments at 2.3x the rate of standard SMS reminders • At SJ Health, 28% of contacted patients scheduled a pediatric checkup • At Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems, agentic outreach rescheduled 4x more canceled appointments than the same period last year Luma customers have 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞. A new MCP Server, live in early access, lets health systems connect tools like Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or ChatGPT to pull outreach lists and feed them directly into Luma. Michael Chou reposted thisMichael Chou reposted thisI am looking for a product manager to join us as a VP Marketing. that is right, domain expertise is the most important thing, everything else stems from there and agents can help. Anyone out there who wants to jump into trenches with me and let the world know about the best agentic product management system there is?

Michael Chou shared thisIf you coach a sports team — or know someone who does — I’d love for you to give Kinetiq Team a try or share it with a coach you know! Kinetiq Team is built by a coach (Jerrod Nodar) and parents (Victoria Liang and I) who believe in a better experience for both coaches and families. Too many team apps feel dated, poorly designed, and focused entirely on schedules and logistics. But being part of a team is about more than knowing where to be and when. Our app is built to keep the whole family engaged, make communication easier, and help families feel more connected to the team and to each other. We've built an app that's modern, simple, and genuinely enjoyable to use. https://lnkd.in/g9D4aePv

Michael Chou reposted thisMichael Chou reposted this"Fax Transform turned our referral process from something that slowed us down into something that grows our business," said CEO Ernie Campbell. KCA Neurology's fax backlog used to hit 200 faxes on a busy day. Two employees spent most of their time managing the fax inbox and following up on referrals. Luma's Fax Transform now reads incoming referral faxes, writes patient information directly into eClinicalWorks, and texts patients to schedule their appointments. Staff review only the referrals that come in incomplete. 👉 2,200+ faxes handled monthly 👉 90% reduction in fax backlog 👉 132+ hours saved monthly since October 2025 Read the full story: https://hubs.li/Q04tSm3-0

Michael Chou shared thisThibault Sottiaux and the OpenAI team consistently put on a masterclass in developer communication. They’re remarkably transparent about the issues developers are facing, proactive in sharing what they’ve learned and the progress they’re making, and quick to offer additional usage credits as a gesture of goodwill when things don’t go as planned. Our company uses Claude, but I’ve increasingly relied on Codex for my personal projects—and this level of developer experience and communication is a big reason why. They're debugging, building, and communicating 7 days a week.

Michael Chou shared thisProud to be at Luma where we are leading the industry in delivering Agentic AI products to orchestrate healthcare operations. Everything from voice AI to intelligent document workflows.Michael Chou shared this2025 was all about AI scribes, but the conversation is already moving on. A recent Modern Healthcare article from ViVE highlights something many health system leaders are starting to realize: documenting the visit is useful, but it doesn’t solve the operational bottlenecks that slow care down across the system. Over the past few years, adoption has followed a fairly predictable path: - 2024: AI focused on automating RCM and coding work - 2025: AI scribes and ambient listening tools gained traction - 2026: Agentic voice technologies are all the rage BUT, the bigger opportunity goes beyond any single AI tool. Health systems are asking a more fundamental question: how can AI improve how the entire operating model works? It’s no longer just about documenting the visit. It’s about making sure the next step in care actually happens. The bigger shift happening now is toward Operational AI that can actually move care gaps and referrals to completion and accomplish next steps, not just add a fancy AI layer. Michael Chou reposted thisMichael Chou reposted thisI’ve been in healthtech long enough to watch a lot of "breakthrough" digital tools fall flat. Blockchain for healthcare, anyone? It usually isn’t because the tech is bad. It’s because tools were shipped that didn’t respect how healthcare actually runs: constant exceptions, clinical risk, and workflows that span multiple teams and systems. Healthcare's first digital wave promised transformation but didn’t deliver because: Adoption is a workflow problem, not a UI problem Point solutions create new handoffs, which create new work If humans have to reconcile the system, the system isn’t doing the work AI pilots break at scale Outcomes beat features, every time But here's what gets me excited about what's coming next: agentic AI can actually learn from these lessons. In my latest piece for Healthcare IT Today, I break down 5 hard lessons from healthcare's digital journey and why the next generation of AI must be different. We're talking about systems that reduce administrative burden instead of adding to it, empower patients rather than confusing them, and deliver real outcomes (not just features with “AI” slapped on the cover). The stakes are too high to repeat the same mistakes. Michael Chou liked thisMichael Chou liked thisLast year, I left Amazon without knowing what came next. What I did know was that I wanted to spend more time with family, and that I wanted to be a builder again. Today, I’m excited to share Told Together—the app I built that turns conversations with loved ones into written stories. Enter invite code LINKED26 for one year free. I started Told Together because I knew my parents would never sit down and record their stories themselves. It felt too much like homework—and English is their second language. But have a conversation with me? They’d love to! With Told Together, preserving family stories is as easy as a phone call. All it takes is curiosity and a conversation. The written story is created instantly, for generations to read. If you’re like me and have someone you love who’s not interested in writing their own stories themselves, I hope you'll give it a try: https://lnkd.in/gemU4z97 Shares, follows, and likes of the new @toldtogether Instagram account are also appreciated ♥️

Michael Chou liked thisMichael Chou liked thisA couple of weeks ago, I dropped my daughter off at my alma mater, tears streaming down my face as my husband and I drove away from her dorm. At convocation, the incoming class was called on to lead lives of curiosity, exploration, and service to others. Mary Oliver's question hung in the air: "What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" For my daughter and her fellow frosh, it marked a new beginning. For me, it felt like a reminder to be intentional about my own next chapter. After a deeply meaningful few years, I’ve decided to leave Gong. Rather than rushing into the next thing, I’m taking a deliberate pause to reflect, recharge, and weigh a few very exciting opportunities. To my Gong colleagues: thank you. Being part of Gong's growth journey, and getting to know so many talented, passionate, fearless Gongsters along the way, is something I'll carry with me. Gong is one of those rare companies with extraordinary products, extraordinary people, and extraordinary ambition. I'll be cheering for this team and everything it does next. Since landing in Silicon Valley more than two decades ago, I've been moving pretty much nonstop: building companies and teams, raising two kids, traveling the world, and taking on one demanding role after another. It has been thrilling, fulfilling, and an adventure I wouldn't trade. Before the next chapter begins, I'm giving myself some time to breathe, spend time with family, and reconnect with friends and colleagues who have shaped my life and career. For now, I'm deeply grateful for the past, energized about the future, and looking forward to sharing what's next!

Michael Chou liked thisMichael Chou liked thisEarlier today, I shared some news with our employees: after nearly 18 years at LinkedIn and Microsoft, I'll be leaving at the end of the year. Below is the note I shared with our teams. None of this would have happened without you, the people who use LinkedIn and Office every day. You found jobs, hired great teams and learned new skills. You wrote the plans, built the spreadsheets and sent the emails that run businesses all over the world. Watching that happen at the scale of billions of people has been the best part of my career. I can't wait to see what this team and this community build next.

Michael Chou liked thisMichael Chou liked thisThis was my third year on the Ignite Live stage, and perhaps the most personal. I come from a family of teachers. I talked about how my parents instilled in me values that building takes dedication, and the best things take time to mature. Both lessons show up in the way we build the maps, intelligence, and navigation that help Delivery Associates see the world they deliver in. Three years ago, 11 Delivery Service Partners took a chance on a tool called GeoStudio. The idea was simple: the people who know delivery routes best should be the ones improving the map data. Today, 99% of DSPs are doing just that through GeoStudio, and they've contributed more than 300,000 edits and counting. We've also added another layer with Project Wellspring, AI that learns from every delivery, and connected the two. So far, Wellspring has identified 202 million parking locations, mapped 2.8 million building entrances, and cataloged 85,000 mailrooms and lockers. One edit from a DSP can now improve every future route at that location. And for the first time, we unveiled our smart delivery glasses technology to the full DSP community, with many eager to experience them. Designed with input from hundreds of their Delivery Associates, the glasses now feature an LED headlamp, hands-free scanning, and proactive address verification – all in a driver's field of view. We expect to have more than 20,000 devices in the field by the end of 2027. But my favorite moments weren't on stage. They were at Last Mile Land, watching the engineers and product teams behind all of this show their work directly to the DSP owners they create for. Building takes dedication and the best things take time to mature. Last week, I saw years of both on full display. Kudos to these teams. 👏 See everything else we announced at Ignite Live: https://lnkd.in/giFbdUcu Caleb Childers Carlos Anton

We bring in top talent, push and develop them into consistent over-performers, and promote from within. This SDR role is a launching pad, and I run it that way on purpose. I'm hiring two more SDRs right now. If you're a high performer who's hit a growth ceiling at your current company, call me. (214) 927-8579

9,000 healthcare workers will lose their familiar AI tool in 2026. UCSF chose OpenAI over their own creation. The reasons reveal everything. UCSF just announced they're replacing their in-house AI platform Versa Chat with ChatGPT Enterprise. This isn't a small move. It affects 9,000 users across one of America's top medical centers. Why abandon your own technology? The answer shows where healthcare AI is heading: • Enhanced HIPAA compliance support • Access to GPT-5 technology • Enterprise-grade security safeguards • Broader functionality across clinical operations UCSF built Versa Chat for secure AI access. But even they recognized when to pivot. Sometimes the best solution isn't the one you created. The migration starts early 2026. UCSF's 40,000+ community members will gain access to cutting-edge AI while maintaining patient privacy. This shift signals a broader trend. Healthcare organizations are choosing proven enterprise solutions over custom builds. The focus has moved from building AI tools to implementing them effectively. For healthcare innovation, this could accelerate AI adoption across research, education, and patient care. What matters most? Getting the right tools to healthcare workers quickly and safely. How do you think this will impact AI adoption in your healthcare organization? #HealthcareAI #OpenAI #DigitalHealth 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞: https://lnkd.in/dSUD8XdG Karaka Sai chandra sekhar, Rupa Sri Borra

When most people hear "solid-state," they think storage. But in Santa Clara, xMEMS Labs just gave that term new resonance, literally. The company just raised $21M in Series D funding led by Boardman Bay Capital Management, with Cloudview Capital, CDIB-TEN Capital, Harbinger Ventures, Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, and other strategic investors tuning in. This isn't another round of capital, it's an #amplifier for a company turning silicon into a new language of #sound and #cooling for the AI era. Founded in 2018 by Joseph Jiang and Jemm Liang, xMEMS spun out of piezoelectric R&D at TSMC and turned what was once wafer-level theory into commercial hardware. Joseph Jiang, a veteran of Knowles, Fortemedia, and InvenSense, leads with precision and swagger, while Jemm Liang, who built Ultrachip from the ground up, drives the engineering with surgical focus. Co-Founder & CLO Wei-Fu Hsu, the former MediaTek exec and IP expert, ensures xMEMS' innovation is as protected as it is disruptive. Their play? A monolithic MEMS platform that transforms voltage into vibration, silicon into sound. Unlike legacy coil speakers and fans, xMEMS tech doesn't move parts, it moves markets. Over 500K MEMS speakers shipped in 1H'24, backed by >250 global patents. The Cypress & Sycamore lines redefine what "small" can do: 1mm-thin, full-range, and capable of sub-bass response once thought impossible in earbuds. Their XMC-2400 µCooling chip, 1mm-thin, fan-on-a-chip, inaudible, moves 39cc/sec of air at just 30mW. That's not cooling, that's choreography at a molecular level. Dr. Chester Hwang, named CTO on Oct 15, 2025, joins to push that curve further. Alongside veterans Mike Housholder (VP Marketing & Biz Dev), Jim Wargnier (VP N.A. & EU Sales), James Lee (VP & Korea GM), Steven P. Bentley (VP Sales), and Martin Lim (VP MEMS Tech), xMEMS is scaling at semiconductor speed. They're already in BleeqUp's AI sports glasses and teamed with Dongguan Rayking Electronics for TWS modules. When OEMs talk "next-gen," they're talking xMEMS-level integration. For investors like Boardman Bay's Will Graves, this isn't just sound engineering, it's signal intelligence. With AI pushing devices thinner, faster, and hotter, xMEMS' piezoMEMS platform sits at the intersection of #acoustics and #thermals, where every millimeter matters. Backing them is a bet that the next wave of #sensorytech won't just compute, it'll feel alive. So what's next? Scaling production, expanding capacity, and embedding xMEMS' silicon pulse into everything from earbuds to AI #datacenters. In a world chasing speed, silence, and fidelity, xMEMS isn't following the beat, they're building the frequency the future will hum to. #Startups #StartupFunding #VentureCapital #SeriesD #AI #Sound #SoundEngineering #Semiconductors #Data #DataDriven #Technology #Innovation #TechEcosystem #StartupEcosystem #Hiring #TechHiring If software engineering peace of mind is what you crave, Vention is your zen.

We chose a good subject for our march Autotech Council meeting, and after this year's CES, it seems even more obvious. Our meeting on the AI Defined Vehicle will show how it's a natural next step after the Software Defined Vehicle phase that we've been in Tesla launched the Model S in 2012. Now, most carmakers have SDVs. It's time to layer on the AI in user-facing roles, and in invisible functions managing the vehicle.
