Raymond Han shared thisThis past week, I took a week off work from Vimo and visited the Villa Soleada Bilingual School in El Progresso, Honduras - one of the schools we support at Brighter Children. With my board colleagues and friends, we participated in class, judged their year end presentations, and goofed around with the kids. What did I learn? Parents around the world want the same things for their kids - it is just exponentially harder in countries like Honduras. - Kids want to learn and have fun in school with engaging teachers. - Parents want their children to be safe on the way to school and at school. - Parents want their kids to learn math and how to use present and past tense properly. - Parents want to see their kids do better than they did and are so proud when they do. I'm so proud that our support of One Thousand Schools has allowed the families of the VSEB school to meet these goals - but there are so many more children to help. So honored to be able to sign the case with Justin Brown and others.Raymond Han shared thisWhen a new case study is taught for the first time at Harvard, the first audience is asked to sign a copy to send to the subject. I had an opportunity to sign the case study today for the Mayor of Albuquerque whose law enforcement modernization effort was the primary focus. It was a powerful study with meaningful outcomes and lessons for those in public service.

This award recognizes Wyoming DFS for launching the Early Childhood Access Resources and Eligibility System (ECARES), a fully integrated child care platform that connects families, providers, and agency staff through a single, streamlined experience. The system modernizes child care search, eligibility determination, application processing, provider management, and payment administration to make services easier to access and administer statewide.
