Sridhar Seshadri shared thisOne of the things that constantly amazes me is how much intelligence exists in nature, and how little of it we truly understand. As we continue to build robots, develop AI systems, and advance bionic technologies, we often look to nature for inspiration. Yet every so often, nature reminds us that we have only scratched the surface. A fascinating example comes from a study published in Science involving bumblebees (Bombus terrestris) [https://lnkd.in/dy6jFBCb.] Researchers trained the bees to associate an artificial blue flower with a reward. During testing, however, the flower was moved to the ceiling of a transparent arena, out of the bees' reach. Nearby sat a small movable ball. To obtain the reward, the bee had to roll the ball underneath the flower, climb onto it, and then reach the treat. Here, the bee only knew two things independently: that the blue flower signaled a reward, and that the ball could be moved safely. Many of them spontaneously connected these separate pieces of knowledge into a completely new sequence of actions. The researchers conducted rigorous control experiments to rule out simple explanations. In some of the most challenging tests, the flower was hidden while the bee rolled the ball, preventing it from continuously tracking the target. Even then, the bees successfully positioned the ball in the correct location. This does reveal something profoundly important: Nature has evolved countless forms of intelligence, many of which we are only beginning to recognize. For those of us working in robotics, AI, and bionics, studies like this are a reminder that some of the most powerful innovations may not come from inventing entirely new ideas, but from understanding the solutions that evolution has already discovered. The deeper we look into natural intelligence, the more we realize how much remains unexplored. We are learning from nature every day, yet it increasingly feels as though we have only scratched the surface of what is possible.

And the more conversations I've had, the more one thing has become clear. We don't have a shortage of talent. We don't have a shortage of ideas. We don't have a shortage of ambition. What we have is a connection problem. A founder spends months trying to get in front of the right decision-maker. A company searches globally for solutions while startups a few kilometres away struggle to get a meeting. Universities produce incredible talent and research, but much of it never reaches industry. Everyone is working hard. But too often, we're working in parallel. Not together. I've spent some time recently thinking about where Telangana is heading over the next decade. And I've become convinced of something. Hyderabad's next phase of growth won't be defined by the resources we have. It will be defined by how well we connect them. That's what led me to start exploring an idea called #BUILD2026. Not another conference. Not another networking event. A platform built around one simple belief: The right people, connected, can change the future of Telangana. It's still early. I'm listening. Learning. Trying to understand what people across the ecosystem are experiencing from where they sit. So I'd like to ask you one question. What is the one connection Telangana needs more of today? I believe branding becomes critical the moment growth depends on people who have never met the founder. In the early days, customers buy from the founder. As companies scale, customers buy from the brand. Consider the early versions of Facebook and Google. Facebook's first version was simple and limited to a small audience. Google's first homepage was minimal and almost unfinished by today's standards. Neither company became iconic because of their first logo, website, or marketing campaign. They became powerful brands because they consistently delivered value, built trust, and created memorable experiences. A logo is not a brand. A website is not a brand. A tagline is not a brand. A brand is the trust you earn and the reputation you build over time. As I often tell founders and CXOs: Sell → Scale → Symbolize First, founders sell. Then, organizations scale. Finally, great companies become symbols of trust, innovation, and impact. The most enduring companies are not remembered merely for the products they sold. They are remembered for the beliefs they represented. Version 1 attracts users. Version 10 attracts customers. In a world driven by speed and performance, kindness may be the most underrated leadership discipline we have. Kindness is often misunderstood at work. Niceness keeps things smooth — it avoids friction, keeps conversations pleasant, and makes us easy to work with. But kindness goes deeper. It requires attention, honesty, and the courage to say what truly matters — even when it’s uncomfortable.

For a century, the industry ran on three variables: location, capital, and execution. AI has quietly added a fourth, and it is rewriting the entire lifecycle of how buildings are imagined, built, and operated. Consider design. Architectural massing has always been part craft, part intuition. Today, AI evaluates hundreds of configurations in minutes — optimizing simultaneously for sunlight, ventilation, FSI compliance, view corridors, and revenue per square foot. The result isn't just a better-looking building. It's a financially optimized asset from Day 1. Parking, long treated as a compliance nuisance, is becoming a strategic asset. By simulating real-world traffic flows, peak load patterns, and EV adoption curves, developers are turning basements into differentiators — quieter entries, smoother exits, and infrastructure that ages well into the next decade. Construction, historically the industry's weakest link, is undergoing its most significant shift. Computer vision and predictive analytics are bringing manufacturing-grade discipline to a craft-based trade — catching safety risks early, estimating materials with precision, and monitoring progress in real time. Projects that once lost 20 to 30 percent to waste and rework are beginning to behave like production lines. The transformation deepens after handover. Digital twins and AI-driven building systems are turning static structures into living ones — predicting maintenance failures before they occur, optimizing energy dynamically, and adapting lighting and cooling to how the building is actually used. Buildings, quite literally, are beginning to think. Even monetization is changing shape. Dynamic pricing, demand-led launch windows, and inventory intelligence are replacing gut-feel sales strategies. Real estate is quietly behaving less like a fixed asset class and more like a yield-optimized marketplace. What we are witnessing isn't an incremental upgrade. It's a category shift: From assets to intelligent platforms. From one-time sales to lifecycle value creation. From construction to controlled production. From design by decision to design by simulation. And increasingly, from optional adoption to regulatory and ESG necessity. The question for infrastructure and real estate leaders is no longer whether to adopt AI. And we are still debating algorithms when we should be writing policy. India has a Quantum Mission. India does not yet have a Quantum Policy. Here is what that policy must contain — in six moves, not sixty: → A National Quantum Security Directive under Section 70B of the IT Act — giving CERT-In and NCIIPC statutory teeth. → Sectoral PQC mandates from RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, TRAI, CEA, and NHA. One directive each. This fiscal year. → "No New Classical-Only" procurement, codified in the General Financial Rules and flagged on GeM. Every rupee earns a Cryptographic Bill of Materials. → DPDP rules protecting long-life data — Aadhaar, UPI, ABDM — with hard re-encryption timelines by 2028. → A National QKD Backbone anchored by C-DoT fiber and ISRO satellites. The 1,000 km milestone is the floor, not the ceiling. → A Quantum Security Coordinator in the PMO — because ownership is the single biggest gap today. A roadmap is not a regulation. A laboratory is not a standard. A mission is not a market. Adversaries are already running Harvest-Now-Decrypt-Later against critical infrastructure in India. To achieve this, iML has 3 major components, the feature selection, the algorithm selection and hyperparameters optimization. The engine takes the training data as the input, feeds it to the core iML engine, and performs feature and algorithm selection first to decide the best combination of most relevant feature set and algorithm amongst the available algorithms for the particular type of machine learning problem. Then it performs the hyperparameter optimization to minimize the loss function and finally trains a relatively better model suited for the dataset. The model is then used for the test data for predictions giving fairly better and accurate predictions.
