We are seeking a Director of Business Development who is a true hunter and closer—someone who thrives on creating opportunities from scratch, winning new business, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
This role is ideal for proven sales leaders from B2B environments who are energized by outbound prospecting, complex deal cycles, and owning the full sales process end-to-end.
What You’ll Do
Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close new business
Generate pipeline from scratch through high-volume outbound activity (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, etc.)
Identify and engage decision-makers across target industries
Build and maintain a strong pipeline within your assigned territory or vertical
Deliver compelling presentations and clearly articulate value and ROI
Manage opportunities effectively using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Consistently meet or exceed activity and revenue targets
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client success
Provide market feedback and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
What We’re Looking For
Proven sales hunter with a track record of generating new business through outbound efforts
Demonstrated success closing deals in a B2B sales environment (technology, services, SaaS, or similar)
Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and cold calling as a core part of the role
Strong closing skills with the ability to navigate objections and drive deals to completion
Experience managing the full sales cycle independently
Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and results-driven
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior decision-makers
Experience using CRM systems and managing a structured sales process
Ability to quickly understand and sell complex solutions by tying them to business outcomes
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience selling into automotive dealerships or related industries
Background in SaaS, fintech, or technology-enabled solutions
Experience in multi-state or territory-based sales roles
