The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback and the 27‑year‑old singer announced the news Tuesday, sharing a joint Instagram post revealing Herbert's proposal.

Herbert, 28, is seen wearing a thin white long‑sleeve shirt and black pants as he gets down on one knee to propose. Beer appears in a white sweater‑material top, a lace white skirt and stilettos. Though the close‑up is slightly blurred, her new ring appears to be a radiant‑cut diamond.
One slide shows a rustic wooden sign reading "Mr. and Mrs. Herbert," emphasizing the couple's excitement for what's ahead.

Beer's mother, Tracie, shared an emotional message in the comments, writing: "My heart is glowing. My soul is fulfilled. The engagement comes nearly a year after the couple first sparked dating rumors last August, when Herbert visited Beer on the set of a music video she was filming in Los Angeles. Two months later, they made things official publicly, sharing a kiss on the sidelines during the Chargers' Oct. 5 matchup against the Washington Commanders.
When Beer turned 27 earlier this year, Herbert marked the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram Story tribute, praising the impact his then‑girlfriend had on his life.
"Happy birthday to my favorite person of all time," he wrote over a photo of Beer giving him a kiss on the sidelines before a Chargers game. "I love you so much. You’ve changed my life forever 🤍."
