Commentary
Despite being the most visible and established local news presence in most communities, newspapers are typically left out of major funding efforts. The focus, instead, is on digital startups, new platforms and toolkits designed to support emerging models. The problem? You can’t rebuild local journalism at scale while sidelining the organizations still doing the work.
SLC Roundtables
At SLC, United Robots will share how automated content based on verified local data is helping publishers expand coverage without stretching already thin resources. From neighborhood-level home sales and sports recaps to instant alerts on wildfires and severe weather, the goal is to deliver more relevant information to readers while freeing up reporters’ time.
At the Senior Leadership Conference, AdMessenger will show publishers how its easy-to-use mobile platform can cut through the clutter, grow digital audience and drive new revenue.
