    Progressive metal giants Dream Theater are returning to India in 2026, nine years after their last performance in Mumbai in 2017. The band will bring their 40th anniversary tour to Bengaluru and Kolkata, marking the first time the City of Joy features on their touring map.

    India leg kicks off Asia tour

    The band announced on social media that their India tour will kick off on January 30, 2026, at Phoenix Marketcity Back Arena in Bengaluru, followed by a debut performance in Kolkata on February 1, 2026, at Aquatica Ground. Tickets will be available through the band’s official website.

    “We can’t wait to return to India, Indonesia, Australia, South Korea and Japan as part of our 40th Anniversary Tour in 2026,” the band wrote on Instagram.

    Dream Theater’s Asia leg starts in India and wraps up in Japan on March 3, 2026. The full itinerary includes:
