Starship mission goals and size
SpaceX plans to attempt returning the upper stage of Starship to the launch site for the first time. SpaceX has already proven it can return and "catch" the massive rocket booster (Super Heavy) at Starbase during three previous launches since October, as reported by USA Today.SpaceX will try for a fourth attempt at deploying test Starlink satellites, something it has not succeeded in yet. The Super Heavy booster will perform several in-flight experiments before making a water landing off the Gulf of Mexico, recently renamed by the U.S. government as the Gulf of America.
