Oppo has confirmed that its new F31 series will launch in India on September 15 at 12 pm IST. The lineup is expected to include three smartphones — Oppo F31 5G, Oppo F31 Pro 5G, and Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G. The company has branded the upcoming handsets as “Durable Champion,” pointing to a focus on durability. The F31 lineup will succeed the Oppo F29 series, which was launched in March this year. With the new launch, Oppo is positioning the phones in the mid-range segment, targeting users looking for durability and long battery life.

Oppo F31: Expected price

Reports suggest that the Oppo F31 5G could be priced under ₹20,000, lower than the base model of the Oppo F29 series, which started at ₹23,999. Unlike the F29 lineup, this series may feature a Pro Plus model for the first time.

Oppo F31: between ₹20,000 – ₹25,000.
Oppo F31 Pro: between ₹25,000 – ₹30,000.
Oppo F31 Pro+: around ₹35,000.

Oppo F31: Specifications

The Oppo F31 series is tipped to carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. All three models are expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor at the back, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The smartphones are also expected to come with a 7,000mAh battery, which would be a significant addition for users prioritising battery life.

Oppo F31: Design and colour options

The Oppo F31 5G is expected to feature a square-shaped camera module with rounded edges, located at the top left of the back panel. It may be available in Blue, Green, and Red colours.

The Oppo F31 Pro 5G may carry a centred squircle-shaped camera design, with Gold and Grey colour options. The Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G could sport a circular camera unit in the centre of the rear panel and may be sold in Blue, Pink, and White finishes.

• Oppo F31 may come with a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate.
• Oppo F31 Pro may feature a similar display.

• Oppo F31 could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
