Quick commerce startup Zepto has launched a pharmacy delivery vertical to deliver medicines within 10 minutes across key metros.

The announcement was made by cofounder and CEO Aadit Palicha on LinkedIn on Thursday, marking Zepto’s latest category expansion after piloting the service for over a year.

“With 1,000+ top products across all major pharmacy categories and a pipeline of 10,000+ SKUs to come online soon, we believe this could be a game-changer,” Palicha said. The service is currently live in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, where Zepto operates its dark store network.

Palicha said they will focus on “not scaling too rapidly” in the pharmacy segment, given its regulatory complexity and operational sensitivities. The move puts Zepto in direct competition with players like Tata 1mg, PharmEasy, and Apollo Pharmacy.
