He was such a great human being and friend," as quoted in the report.

According to the Newsweek report, the Clearwater Police Department shared that emergency crews had responded to the 9:51 a.m. 911 call at Hogan's home in Clearwater Beach.

The police said, "The nature of the call was for a cardiac arrest," and added that Hogan had been taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, as reported by Newsweek. Maj. Nate Burnside said, “There were no signs of foul play or suspicious activity,” as quoted by AP.
