'There's a lot of trouble at CDC...': RFK Jr. 'reveals' why WH fired Susan Monarez; 'We let her go…’
US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said there is 'a lot of trouble' at the CDC, just a day after the firing of CDC Director Susan Monarez. Speaking at a press conference in Texas with Governor Greg Abbott, Kennedy said the agency needs a culture change and hinted that more officials could be removed. Monarez’s firing was quickly followed by the resignation of three top officials who claimed they could not support Kennedy’s anti-vaccine policies.
