The Skyroot Chest was introduced to Grow a Garden with the Beanstalk Update expansion on August 23, 2025. This special chest gives players the chance to unlock three new seeds and three new pets. Below is a breakdown of the drop rates and how you can obtain one.

How to Get a Skyroot Chest in Grow a Garden

There are three main methods to obtain a Skyroot Chest, though two are much more common since the third involves spending Robux:

    • Crafting at the Beanstalk Table: Once your Beanstalk grows high enough to reach the crafting station, you can make a Skyroot Chest using 2 Beanstalk Crops, 1 Sprout Seed Pack, 1 Sprout Egg, and 7,500,000 Sheckles. The process takes 30 minutes.

    • Buying from the Giant: After raising your friendship level with the Giant at least once, you can purchase a Skyroot Chest directly from them for 1,500,000 Sheckles, provided it’s in stock.

    • Exotic Skyroot Chest (Robux Only): Available temporarily in the in-game shop for Robux. However, its drop rates differ slightly from the standard version.

    Skyroot Chest Item Chances

Opening a Skyroot Chest can reward you with one of six possible items, each with its own probability:
    • Crown of Thorns – 34.5%
    • Elk – 34.5%
    • Calla Lily – 14.5%
    • Mandrake – 14.5%
    • Cyclamen – 1%
    • Griffin – 1%
