Program Cashless @ NADI Pekan Rumbia, Melaka telah berlangsung pada 19 April 2026 bersempena Inisiatif Cashless Society Fasa 4, dengan fokus kepada peningkatan literasi kewangan serta keyakinan pengguna terhadap pembayaran tanpa tunai. Pelbagai aktiviti telah dijalankan termasuk sesi perkongsian, Jualan Rahmah MADANI serta peluang kepada komuniti untuk mempraktikkan transaksi tanpa tunai secara langsung, di samping pendedahan mengenai keselamatan dalam talian.

YB Datuk Fairul Nizam, EXCO Sains, Teknologi, Inovasi dan Komunikasi Digital, telah meluangkan masa menghadiri program Cashless @ NADI Pekan Rumbia, Melaka, bersempena Inisiatif Cashless Society Fasa 4 Tahun 2026. Program ini dilaksanakan oleh MCMC melalui Sektor Pembangunan Industri (IDS) dan Bahagian Masyarakat dan Keterangkuman Masa Depan (CFID), dengan fokus kepada peningkatan kesedaran literasi kewangan serta keyakinan pengguna dalam penggunaan pembayaran tanpa tunai. Program tersebut turut dihadiri oleh pegawai-pegawai MCMC bersama rakan strategik seperti toyyibPay, TM Unifi, Maybank dan KPDN. Sepanjang program, pelbagai perkongsian telah disampaikan, di samping pelaksanaan Jualan Rahmah MADANI serta penglibatan pengurus NADI yang memberi peluang kepada komuniti untuk mempraktikkan transaksi tanpa tunai secara langsung. Kempen Internet Selamat turut mengambil bahagian dengan menyampalkan kesedaran berkaitan keselamatan dalam talian kepada komuniti setempat. Secara keseluruhannya, program ini mencerminkan komitmen berterusan dalam memperluas penggunaan pembayaran tanpa tunai, sekali gus memperkukuh budaya digital dalam komuniti melalui pengukuhan empat tonggak utama, iaitu literasi digital dan kewangan, keselamatan siber, pembinaan kapasiti serta peluang penjanaan pendapatan. #MCMC #NADI

We were pleased to host a Study Visit Programme at MCMC, welcoming approximately 150 participants comprising students and lecturers from three distinguished institutions; International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Pagoh, Pengkalan Udara Sendayan (PUSEN), and Malaysian College of Security and Investigation Studies (MYCSI). Held at the Auditorium, Level 21, MCMC Tower 1, the programme offered participants meaningful exposure to MCMC’s role in regulating and safeguarding Malaysia’s communications and multimedia landscape. The session featured a series of insightful knowledge-sharing segments, including: • Safeguarding the digital space through online content regulation in Malaysia • Investigation and prosecution perspectives on the improper use of social media • An overview of MCMC’s digital forensics capabilities Through these engagements, participants gained a deeper appreciation of the regulatory, enforcement, and technical dimensions that underpin a safe and secure digital ecosystem.
