Does anyone have a contact email address for Wise without logging on ?? For some reason my account has been deactivated, I can’t appeal because it needs me to login ? Tried a new email address to set up a new account but my phone number is linked to the old email so that failed also ( would give me the OTP but when submitted it says “ linked to another email address “ ). Despite efforts of Paypal to relaunch in Thailand it seems to be all over now. Customers, both private and business received an email this morning that all the documents they had to file to keep using their Paypal account in Thailand after February 18 was just a waste of effort because Paypal and the Thai government cannot seem to get the agreement sealed. Hello, I'm a bit fed up with Vanguard as I have to often reset my password because of Thailand's security risks. It's a hassle because it requires calling customer service and some agents do not know what to do. I'm also unable to use their phone app here. Looking for an investment bank where I can transfer my stocks and IRA over without hassles. Would love to use a quality phone application. I can use BofA but do not want to use their investment services. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi all, We potentially have to send around £9k GBP to my wife’s Thai bank. What is our most economical option? She usually uses Wise for much smaller amounts. Someone has also pointed out that transactions over 50k thb are now blocked? cheers

Conveniently I have an SCB bank close by. However I see that they impose a 5% fee on top of the 200 baht fee. Do all banks charge this 5%, or just SCB? Using Wise isn't possible at this point.

I use Wise to send the normal 20-50k baht But how do you send 2-3mil baht? What is your experience on the rate you receive at the Thai bank in Thailand? Because to send 2mil baht on Wise it will be pretty much spot rate but they charge 497cad in fees Thanks

Trying to call Kasikorn (Tel.0-28888888) from Australia but without success? My AIS sim card has stopped working and thus I can't use my Kasikorn account online as I can't receive the OTP. Can anyone assist, please? Thanks Pete

I was surprised to find out that TransferWise (Wise), Midpoint and other foreign exchange platforms seem to be able to send money easily enough from United Kingdom to Thailand, but not the other way round. Other than instructing my bank to send a transfer, does anyone know of a reputable service provider who offers sensible rates and fees on Thailand to UK transfers?? Thanks!! Monty.

Is anyone getting pop up notice from Wise transfer re restriction on inbound currency. i am nit talking about the normal 20k USD max but in my case 50K THB WHICH IS ABOUT $2500 aust dollars.

I was told elsewhere that there is now a limit of 49,999 THB for transfers from overseas to Thailand due to money laundering rules being introduced. I transferred a lot more than that on 1st December, anyone know if this new rule is actually true?

There are a number of articles that basically say PayPal Thailand will become defunct next February. It seems that only registered businesses will be able to use it. From the FAQ Does anyone have any further information on this and a possible workaround if this should be the case.

Just for example yesterday I tested my USA credit card (no foreign exchange fee). Oh yes I asked for it in Baht at the cashier ! I’m told Topps doesn’t charge to use a Card. 11/3/21 TT buying rate was 33.26 The amount in Baht was 264. in dollars it was 9.26 ! I’m not sure what the total fees that were incurred .I know master card charges 0.20% points to convert. Anybody know how to figure this out!

I want to transfer around 1000 baht to a vendor in the US. I used to have a PP a/c but I get so many spam messages from whoever, that I'd prefer not to sign up again. I'm fairly sure that it's possible to make a 'one-off payment' without having a PP a/c, but dunno how to do so. Any help, please gentlemen? Thanks
