Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II was the longest reigning monarch in British history. Born in London on April 21, 1926 to The Duke and Duchess of York, Princess Elizabeth never had any expectation of the future that lay before her. Throughout her 70 year reign, the Queen was supported by her “strength and stay” of 73 years, Prince Philip. The couple married in 1947 and had four children: King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. Her Late Majesty died at Balmoral Castle on September 8, 2022 and is buried in the King George VI Memorial Chapel in St George's Chapel, Windsor.
