Amy Phillips shared thisWe had a fantastic Society For Information Management (SIM) Charlotte Chapter Enclave on March 5th at The Palm in Charlotte, NC, sponsored by Island. Scott Ferguson 🏝️ shared insights about some of Island's exciting capabilities. Our discussion centered around AI, with participants sharing how their companies have leveraged AI to address business challenges. One leader highlighted a workshop where leaders brainstormed potential business applications for AI, resulting in a prioritized list of projects aimed at enhancing the business through AI. The engaging discussions and new connections were well-received by all attendees. Thank you to Ivy Chin for your work to pull this group together! Amy Phillips liked thisAmy Phillips liked thisI'm still a little overwhelmed, in the best way. Tonight, KennedyStrong Foundation was voted the recipient of 100 People Who Care Concord's quarterly gift — and I need to say thank you, out loud, to the people who made that happen. 100 People Who Care Concord is exactly what it sounds like: a room full of neighbors who show up, hear three local causes in three minutes each, and vote with their own dollars for the one that moves them most. No galas. No overhead. Just people who care, choosing to act — together, in one evening. They chose us. And I keep coming back to why this matters, one Saturday morning at a time. Every month, families gather at our Coffee & Connections meetup — just coffee, conversation, and a room full of people who get it. A few months ago, an 18-year-old came for the first time. By the end of that morning, he'd made his first friend. Eighteen years old, and his first friend — made over coffee, in a room built for exactly that. That same morning, a mom sat down next to another parent and, in the course of normal conversation, found out about a therapy practice that comes to families' homes. No waitlist hunting. No cold calls. Just one mother handing another mother something she needed, because they were in the same room. That's Coffee & Connections. That's what this vote fuels. Not a program on a brochure — a room where an 18-year-old's first friendship and a mom's next step both happen in the same hour. To the 100+ people in that room, and everyone at 100 People Who Care Concord who built a model this simple and this powerful: thank you. You didn't just fund a line item tonight. You funded more mornings like that one. Grateful doesn't quite cover it. But it's where I'll start. #integratedlife #KennedyStrong #100PeopleWhoCare #Concord #InclusionAward Recipient, Kennedystrong Foundation | GrapevineAward Recipient, Kennedystrong Foundation | Grapevine

Amy Phillips liked thisAmy Phillips liked thisSometimes expanding your network starts with showing up somewhere new. I’ve attended a few @Charlotte Logistics Connection events, including their golf tournaments and happy hours, but this was my first time joining their annual Charlotte Knights Night. Baseball and networking turned out to be a great combination. ⚾ The event was limited to 50 people. I spotted a few familiar faces like Danny Roberts, our host, and Peter Grieshop from CSCMP Charlotte RT, but most of the group was new to me. Some had traveled from across the Carolinas and as far away as Tennessee. It was a great reminder of why I try to attend a variety of events. It’s easy to stay within the circles we already know, but different settings can introduce us to people we might not otherwise meet and create opportunities to expand our network and build new relationships. Sometimes broadening our circles starts by changing where we show up. Of course, baseball, ballpark food, and a 4-1 Knights win over the Durham Bulls made the evening more fun. Thank you to Danny Roberts for hosting and bringing the logistics and supply chain communities together! #Logistics #SupplyChain #Networking #Relationships #CIO

If only one person understands your JD Edwards environment, you likely have a resilience problem! This is where continuity planning comes in. #ERP environments supporting large manufacturers cannot rely on tribal knowledge or undocumented processes. A modern support model should include #JDE and be able to survive staff transitions and organizational growth. We can help with that! https://lnkd.in/ec5GHsuY . . . #JDEdwards #continuity #planning
