April Rimpley reacted on thisI had a blast chatting with LaShonna Dorsey about why the modern employee experience feels so fragmented—and how we’re fixing it. At Maxwell.app , we’re building the "Experience Layer" that sits on top of your existing tools to make them feel magical, not exhausting. We’re moving away from "reimbursement hell" and toward personalized moments of joy. Check out the episode to hear how we’re making work feel a little more human. 🎧 Thank you Nebraska Tech Collaborative for the invitation. #EmployeeExperience #MaxwellMagic #FutureOfWork #HRTechApril Rimpley reacted on thisThere’s a lot of conversation right now around employee experience. And one thing that continues to come up is how complex it can feel, both for employees and for the teams supporting them. In this episode of the TEN podcast, host LaShonna Dorsey visits with Adriana Cisneros Basulto, Co-founder and CEO of Maxwell.app, a global award-winning platform, to talk through what they’re seeing and how it’s evolving. A few things that stood out in the conversation: • Many organizations are making meaningful investments in their people • Those efforts can sometimes feel spread across different tools and systems • There’s a real opportunity to bring those pieces together in a way that’s easier to navigate and use Maxwell approaches this by serving as an “Experience Layer” that connects what already exists into one simple, intuitive destination for employees. What makes this especially interesting is how approachable it is. There’s a free version, making it easy for organizations to explore without a complex rollout or large investment. If you’re thinking about how to better support your team or improve how work feels day to day, this is a thoughtful and practical conversation. 🎧 Listen here: https://lnkd.in/g59tXgQv

Benefit Essentials Launches to Simplify Health Care Solutions for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses Metro Detroit, MI – November 10, 2025 — Small businesses have a new ally in navigating the ever-changing world of employee health benefits. Angela Mitchell, Metro Detroit benefits expert and owner of Bridged Benefits Solutions, has launched Benefit Essentials, an innovative new service designed to simplify employee benefits for small and mid-sized employers. With a focus on affordability, flexibility, and compliance, Benefit Essentials provides employers with the tools and guidance they need to offer meaningful health care solutions without the administrative burden or excessive cost. “Many small employers want to offer benefits but feel overwhelmed by compliance, cost, and complexity,” said Angela Mitchell, founder of Bridged Benefits Solutions. “Benefit Essentials bridges that gap, offering curated health plan options, online enrollment, education, and ongoing support- all at no cost to the employer.” Benefit Essentials includes: • Curated health plan options tailored to each group’s needs • Customized online enrollment system for easy onboarding • Benefit education to help employees understand and utilize coverage • Ongoing employee support and advocacy • Cost-containment strategies to help employers manage expenses • Compliance support to keep businesses up to date with federal requirements Employers only pay a small, one-time fee (under $200) for required compliance templates—everything else is covered, as Bridged Benefits Solutions is paid directly by insurance carriers. As Mitchell notes, the timing could not be more critical. If federal subsidies change or go away, many employers will be scrambling to find affordable solutions for their teams. Benefit Essentials is designed to provide peace of mind and a path forward no matter what happens next.” For more information about Benefit Essentials or to learn how Bridged Benefits Solutions can support your organization’s healthcare strategy, contact Angela Mitchell at angela@bridgedbens.com or (248) 250-2420. About Bridged Benefits Solutions: Founded by Metro Detroit benefits expert Angela Mitchell, Bridged Benefits Solutions partners with small to mid-sized employers to design and manage customized health benefit programs. With a commitment to education, transparency, and advocacy, the firm helps businesses bridge the gap between affordability and quality care through strategic benefit planning and innovative partnerships.

If your change leadership program is “for everyone,” it’s probably helping no one. This was a theme that emerged during a panel I facilitated at the recent Chicago CLO Exchange. After years leading L&OD teams, I’ve seen this play out too often—well-intentioned, beautifully designed programs that fail because they treat every leader the same. Leading change as a frontline manager isn’t the same as leading change as a VP or CEO—yet we hand out the same playbook and hope it sticks. And the old models? (“Unfreeze → refreeze” or “just set a clear vision.”) They don’t fit a future that’s basically fog. So let’s talk about it: ⚡ How do we actually build change agility for leaders at different levels—and do it at scale? ⚡ If training isn’t the lever, what really shifts mindsets and behaviors? ⚡ When the future is unpredictable, which leadership capabilities matter most? ⚡ What does a truly resilient L&D function look like? ⚡ How do we keep change human—especially for middle managers who are stretched thin? Which of these hits closest to home for you right now? Your turn—share a story of when a change program actually worked (or completely missed) and why. Let’s learn from each other.

When employees avoid care due to cost, you do not save money — you defer it. A skipped MRI today becomes an ER visit, a delayed diagnosis, or a catastrophic claim later. Employers who understand this are building health plans that remove cost barriers at the point of care, not just at renewal. That is the difference between managing a health plan and actually managing health. DM me for more information. #EmployeeBenefits #CostContainment #HealthPlanStrategy

It's one thing to have insurance that covers mental health services; but it's another thing to access those services. That was among the takeaways from the Employee Benefit Research Institute 2025 Employee Mental Health Survey. Our latest research underscores the importance of understanding health benefits to drive better health outcomes, greater vitality, and improved work productivity. I see this in action with the employers we partner with every day. Employers have a critical role in helping their workforce make informed decisions and maximize their health benefits. Investing in educational programs, providing interactive tools, and fostering supportive environments leads to a healthier, more informed, and engaged workforce. #EmployeeWellbeing #Healthbenefits #HealthInsuranceLiteracy https://lnkd.in/eKFZ-xWB

💡 Employers facing significant renewal increases or managing high-cost employees often consider transitioning from traditional group health plans to an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA). 💰 A large increase at plan renewal is a common reason for this shift, particularly when one or more enrollees develop costly, chronic conditions. 👍 By offering an ICHRA, for mid-sized employers priced out of fully-insured and level-funded plans, an ICHRA can serve as a viable option, sometimes viewed as a last resort. #largerenewals #ICHRA #planchoices #USI #OneAdvantage #candidate #Networkoptions #benefitcosts #choices #CXO #HR #taxadvantageddollars
