Armed intruders threaten man in Panorama City home invasion

The man was home with his two children Sunday night when he heard what he thought was his wife, but turned out to be two masked intruders.

A man and his two children were home Sunday night when he received a chilling response from two masked intruders inside his Panorama City residence.

No arrests were reported Monday morning in the armed home invasion in the 9500 block of Cedros Avenue.

The man told police he heard a noise at about 11 p.m. Sunday and thought it was his wife. He called out, but one of the intruders responded with a threat to harm him, the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates.

The intruders then ransacked the house and took off with several items. Details about what was stolen were not immediately available.

Police recovered a crowbar at the scene. No injuries were repoted.

The crime is one of the latest amid a string of burglaries and break-ins in the San Fernando Valley.
