The cause behind the Eaton Fire revealed in a newly released report is pushing a call to action from some wildfire survivors on pending wildfire legislation.

The synagogue said on social media that the mural was a “symbol of hope, resilience and solidarity.”

A $20,000 reward was proposed for information leading to those responsible for vandalizing a mural at the site of the Pasadena Jewish Temple & Center.

The sheriff’s department condemned the antisemitic vandalism, adding hate crime has no place in the community.

Some families are still trying to rebuild their lives while fighting with insurers over whether their smoke-damaged homes are safe to live in.

Salvador Esparza was shot in the head while visiting family friends in Altadena 10 years ago.

Salvador Esparza III, who was shot in the head in July 2016, would have been 14 years old this year.

The victim said she paid the unlicensed contractor $18,000, but she could never reach him after he cashed her checks.
