Buffalo Bills started off their 2025 NFL campaign with a thrilling come-from-behind 41-40 win over the Baltimore Ravens in their season-opening clash Sunday night at Orchard Park in New York. Bills staged a late fightback, after Matt Prater kicked a 32-yard field goal, scoring the crucial 16 points in the final 3:56 to post a dramatic victory. Reigning MVP Josh Allen was the star of the match for the Bills as he completed 33 of 46 passes for 394 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for two scores for the Bills.

Starting at their own 20-yard line with 1:26 left, Allen connected with Joshua Palmer for 32 yards and rookie Keon Coleman for 25 to reach the Ravens’ 9-yard line. After three kneel-downs to run out the clock, debutant kicker Matt Prater nailed the game-winner with the club.

Allen surpassed Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas for the franchise record with 66 career rushing TDs. Coleman shined with eight catches for 112 yards and a touchdown. James Cook added a rushing score and Dalton Kincaid hauled in a touchdown grab.

Derrick Henry powered the Ravens with 169 rushing yards and two touchdowns, moving into sixth all-time with 108 career rushing TDs, one ahead of Jim Brown. Lamar Jackson completed 14 of 19 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score. Rookie Zay Flowers caught seven passes for 143 yards and a touchdown, while DeAndre Hopkins came up with a spectacular one-handed 29-yard TD.

Baltimore, who led by 15 midway through the fourth quarter, lost due to Henry fumble as Allen’s late heroics set up Buffalo’s rally. Despite controlling the game much of the night, the Ravens faltered late as Buffalo snatched another narrow win.
