Passenger Shanila Arif, who recorded the video, said passengers first thought it was turbulence as the plane shook. She said, “The lady in front of us opened the window and told us it was broken. The plane was 12,000 feet up when the incident happened. It took off from Orlando Airport and was going to Austin Airport. The FAA said the crew found damage to the left wing flap after the plane landed at 3:10 p.m., according to The Independent.The FAA said an investigation into the incident will be conducted. Delta apologized and stated: “We apologize to our customers for their experience as nothing is more important than the safety of our people and customers”. No injuries were reported during the incident, as stated in the report by CNN.
