MTV VMA 2025 Winners full list: Lady Gaga takes top honours, Bruno Mars & Rosé’s ‘Apt’ steals the spotlight

MTV Video Music Awards 2025 turned UBS Arena in New York into the epicenter of global pop culture Sunday night, with megastars and legends sharing the stage in a mix of show-stopping performances and high-profile honours.

Lady Gaga set the tone early, taking home the first presented award of the night just days after she was forced to cancel a Miami show due to vocal strain.

Lady Gaga: Artist of the Year and more

Lady Gaga won Artist of the Year, making her the first major winner of the evening.

She later also shared the trophy for Best Collaboration with Bruno Mars for their hit “Die With a Smile.”

Bruno Mars & Rosé: Song of the Year glory

Rosé accepted on behalf of herself and Bruno Mars as their smash “APT.” took home Song of the Year.

Mars doubled his haul when he and Gaga claimed Best Collaboration for “Die With a Smile.”
