Asia Cup 2025 is set to begin from September 9 and will go on till September 28 with eight participating teams, which are divided into two groups of four each. The tournament will be played in the T20 format to prepare for the World Cup next year.

India, ranked World No 1, will be led by Suryakumar Yadav. The team will start as favourites for the title, but the threat of Pakistan, Afghanitsan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
