ProcMart appoints Piyush Tiwari as ​vice​-p​resident of ​operations

Bengaluru: B2B e-commerce and supply chain firm ProcMart has brought on board Piyush Tiwari as vice-president of operations. With over 12 years in manufacturing and R&D, Tiwari will bring to the table diverse leadership experience and a wide understanding of the commercial enterprise, along with his analytical and strategic spirit. He has held leadership positions across Cadbury, ITC, and Wrig Nanosystems.

In his new role, he will be the key visionary for strategising the organisation’s overall operational intricacies and stakeholder management. He will further establish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.

ProcMart's mission is to provide an ecosystem that connects a variety of stakeholders through an easy-to-use interface, to meet demands across various levels of supply chain and help procurement for corporates. The company currently has 13 offices in India and two overseas – one in Malaysia and one in Australia, all of which are supported by its own cloud platform.

The firm has raised initial seed and Series-A funding from IndiaMart to help build its cloud-based e-procurement portal and bring it close to product-market fit. This year it is currently looking to raise funds to expand internationally.
