Vandalism at Hazratbal shrine: Mufti cites law, CM Omar seeks clarification
The political storm is growing over the controversy erupted over engraving of the national emblem on the renovation plaque at Hazratbal Shrine, with PDP’s Mehbooba Mufti calling it “blasphemy” and Omar Abdullah questioning the need for such inscriptions at religious places. Both leaders held the government responsible, with Mufti accusing the BJP of creating confusion during Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
