Already looking forward to 2027!Jack Parsliffe shared thisLast week, the flock headed to Val Thorens for our company-wide incentive trip 🎿 An incredible few days of skiing, outstanding food and great company, all set against an unforgettable backdrop in the Alps. Most importantly, it gave the team the chance to spend quality time together and celebrate what has been a standout year for Leadenhall Search & Selection. A whole company trip like this reflects the consistency, drive and high performance delivered across the team throughout the year. Now, we’re back, refreshed and partnering with top-tier clients and working on some genuinely exciting opportunities across the market. Jack Parsliffe shared thisHope everyone has a wonderful festive break with family and loved ones! It has been a great year here at Leadenhall Search & Selection. Countless promotions, a fantastic team servicing all of our clients/candidates successfully throughout 2025 and achieving 2 record breaking quarters (with potentially a 3rd one round the corner..) Highlights for me include our trip to the US and the amount of money raised for Charity. Thanks to all of clients, candidates, contacts and friends across our specialisms who have made it a year to remember. We are extremely excited to support and help you in 2026, which looks like it is set to be a very busy 12 months!!! Enjoy the time off one n all!Jack Parsliffe shared thisAs we approach the end of 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year marked by strong growth, real momentum, and continued investment in our people at Leadenhall Search & Selection. This year saw 30% year-on-year growth, including two record-breaking quarters, as well as continued expansion of our client base, with 80% of mandates coming from the US. A successful trip to Dallas and Boston further strengthened our international relationships. Our team continued to grow and evolve. We welcomed 10 exceptional new starters, strengthening the business with top-tier talent, and celebrated 16 well-deserved promotions. A reflection of our strong focus on development, progression, and recognising performance from within. We also expanded our sector expertise with an additional hire into our Investment Management desk, boosted our retained business, and made investments in AI and technology advancements - with more innovation to come in 2026. Alongside this, we reached a new milestone of 60,000 LinkedIn followers, highlighting the strength of our network and community. Beyond performance, we remained committed to making a positive impact. In 2025, we were proud to partner with Programme One, supporting their work to address the underrepresentation of Black talent within recruitment and helping to create more inclusive pathways into the industry. Giving back continued to be a key focus. We're thrilled to have raised over £12,000 for charity this year, supporting PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide, Chestnut Tree House and Movember this year. Plus a non-monetary Christmas present donation drive with Changing Pathways.🎁 Thank you to our clients, partners, and the incredible Leadenhall team for making 2025 such a standout year. Wishing everyone a wonderful break and a very happy New Year - we’re excited to build on this momentum together in 2026. We remain open over the Christmas period with the exception of the 25th of December and 1st of January so that we can keep servicing our North American clientele. #USrecruitment #growth #consulting #finance #legal

Jack Parsliffe reposted thisJack Parsliffe reposted this💡As we move into the final stretch of the year, many people assume hiring slows down, but in reality, this is one of the best times to make a career move. ⌛With fewer candidates in the market, those who start looking now often find themselves with more options and less competition. Decision-makers tend to be more accessible, interview processes move faster, and there’s a genuine appetite to wrap up hires before year-end. 🎄It’s also a great time to take advantage of any remaining annual leave, making it easier to interview flexibly, and if you secure your next role before Christmas, you can enjoy the holidays knowing your next chapter is already lined up. There’s nothing quite like starting the new year with clarity and momentum rather than beginning the search from scratch in January. 🌟For those in our network who are thinking about making a move, this next six weeks could make all the difference. Some great insights discussed across the Finance, Accounting and Data landscape, with all signs leading to a promising 2026. It was a good reminder of how valuable face-to-face conversations are for building trust, understanding needs more deeply, and furthering collaboration. Jack Parsliffe liked thisJack Parsliffe liked thisOne thing I’m learning as I explore my next professional chapter: Relevance doesn’t come from being busy. It comes from being useful. Earlier in my career, I assumed influence was tied to title and responsibility. But over time, I’ve learned that the impact that actually lasts comes from something else entirely. It comes from helping people think clearly, asking thoughtful and provoking questions, and making good decisions when the stakes are high. That realization is shaping what I do next. I’m drawn to spaces where: 🔹 Experience matters more than hierarchy. 🔹 Growth is the core mission—not governance for its own sake. 🔹 Leaders value deep perspective, not just quick answers. The best advisors don’t just solve problems for you. They help you see the problems more clearly. The best advisors grow, and they mentor. That is the kind of impact I want to make going forward

Jack Parsliffe reacted on thisA much-belated post, but one I wanted to share… A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of celebrating my recent promotion with a delicious lunch at Mountain in Soho. Great food, great company, and a really special moment to pause and take it all in. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of a company where success is genuinely celebrated and where people go out of their way to support one another. It makes all the difference. Leadenhall Search & Selection A big thank you to Charlotte Steel for your continued support and encouragement, and to my wonderful colleague Brooke Harding for always being such a great teammate! 💗 Here’s to growth, new challenges, and a lot of continuing to learn along the way. Jack Parsliffe reacted on thisJack Parsliffe reacted on thisTwo weeks back from the Sahara having completed the Marathon des Sables. Often billed as "the toughest footrace on Earth," the MdS is a self-sufficient ultramarathon across the Moroccan Sahara. Roughly 270km over six stages in a week, where every competitor carries everything they need (food, sleeping bag, kit, the lot) on their back. Only water and a shared open-sided tent are provided. It's been running since 1986 and this race has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. My dad ran it 30 years ago, and ever since I was a kid I've wanted to follow him across that sand. Getting to the start line, let alone the finish, felt surreal. A few highlights I'm quietly proud of: - 116th out of ~1,500 finishers - 270km covered in 35:44:36 - 26th on the longest ever "long stage" - 100km in 13:13:33 with my boy Tomos Ireland-Life - Fastest Brit the following day on the marathon stage - 42.2km in 4:14:56 But honestly, the results are the smallest part of the story. The people made this week. You don't endure this challenge with strangers from all walks of life without forming something that feels a lot like family by the end. Pure trauma bonding and it made every finish line and every celebration that much sweeter. The running was hard. The living was harder. Knees absolutely battered from hauling a week's worth of kit through soft sand. Sandstorms ripping through camp for what felt like half the week meant rest was almost impossible. For every moment I wondered what I was doing out there, there was a moment I never wanted to leave. I ran this for Walking With The Wounded, a charity doing incredible work supporting veterans whose lives have been impacted by their service. We've raised over £15,000 so far and I'd love to push that further. Link in the comments, anything you can spare goes a long way. To my dad, who planted this seed 30 years ago, I get it now! A top effort from everyone and thanks to Neve Grueber for putting a brilliant night together.Jack Parsliffe reacted on thisOn Tuesday, we hosted the fourth annual Leadenhall Charity Gala at Amazing Grace in London Bridge. The evening consisted of a quiz, auction, raffle and live music to round off the night. This year, we supported KOFUP, a charity close to the heart of Isabella Haley and her family. Their work provides vital support to orphaned and vulnerable children across Kenya and Uganda, helping to create safer and more stable futures. Following a brilliant turnout and huge generosity on the night, we raised over £14,200, double last year’s total and a record for the event. A figure we are incredibly proud of and one that will go a long way in supporting this cause. A huge thank you to Christopher Hillman for hosting the quiz and to Michael Brown for leading the auction and helping push the total even higher. A lot of work went in behind the scenes from Neve Grueber, Dana Drutis and the wonderful charity committee to pull everything together, keep the night running smoothly (and for selling a record number of raffle tickets)! We are also very grateful to the local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle and auction. Your generosity played a huge part in the success of the evening. And finally, thank you to the 130+ friends, family and supporters who filled both floors and made it such a great night. The support means a lot and it was great to see so many people come together for a cause that matters. you would like to continue supporting, you can donate here: https://lnkd.in/eADgSig3 #charityevent #charityinitiatives

Recruitment is changing faster than most agencies are willing to admit. CV scanning, manual shortlists, and gut-feel interviews don’t scale — and they don’t compete with AI that can read thousands of profiles in seconds, match skills objectively, and remove bias from first-round screening. This isn’t a threat to recruiters. It’s a warning. AI won’t replace recruiters, but recruiters who use AI will replace those who don’t. #RecruitmentTrends #AIInHiring #FutureOfWork #HRTech #TalentAcquisition

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends is crucial for any candidate looking to remain competitive in the job market. Based on feedback from our Harvey Nash clients, below are the most in-demand areas that leaders are seeking in Data Scienctists: 1. Automated Machine Learning (AutoML) - AutoML tools are becoming increasingly important. They help streamline the process of model building and optimization, making it easier for non-experts to create effective models. 2. AI Ethics and Explainability - There's a growing emphasis on ethical AI and model explainability. Understanding how models make decisions and ensuring they are fair and unbiased is vital. 3. Enhanced Data Security - With more data being handled, the focus on cybersecurity in data science has intensified. Knowledge in data protection strategies is becoming more sought after. 4. Neural Networks and Deep Learning - These technologies are evolving rapidly. Deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch are essential for staying ahead. 5. No-Code/Low-Code Tools - These platforms are making data science more accessible. Being familiar with tools that require little to no coding can be a significant advantage. Keeping up with these trends can set you apart in the fast-paced world of data science! #HarveyNash #DataScience #CareerDevelopment #TechTrends

Partnership Announcement: inploi 🤝 RL Exchange Really pleased to welcome back Inploi to the Resourcing Leaders UK community for the newly introduced RLX. For both TA leaders trying to convert talent into hires and vendors building solutions for the space, it’s clear that candidate engagement and application drop-off are two of the biggest challenges in hiring right now. Attracting talent is one thing but actually keeping them engaged through the process and converting that interest into applications is where many teams struggle. It's so important what they're doing: using AI-powered candidate engagement to help organisations source, engage and convert the people they need, while treating candidates more like customers and giving recruiters time back to focus on people, not process. Looking forward to having Felix Dealtry lead 1:1 meetings and join the conversations with the community over the two days. Welcome back Dean Webb Matthew de la Hey and co 🚀

Our latest research, surveying 430+ UK professionals, paints a fascinating picture of how tech talent is thinking, feeling, and planning as we accelerate through 2026. A few standout insights... Tech confidence remains resilient: Despite a dip in overall job‑market confidence post‑Budget, tech professionals are notably more upbeat than in other sectors. Over 54% feel confident they could secure a new role today, a reflection of continued demand for digital skills. Mobility is rising: One‑third of tech professionals are now more likely to change roles. Retention strategies matter more than ever. Progression is king: Yes, salary still tops the list of reasons to explore new opportunities, but tech talent places a much higher premium on clear advancement pathways compared to the wider workforce. Organisations that can articulate progression will win. Flexibility is non‑negotiable: An overwhelming 85.5% rate flexibility as “very” or “extremely” important. Hybrid models (1–2 days in the office) are the clear preference, with 25% favouring fully remote. Skills development is a defining expectation: 40% of tech professionals are prioritising technical and digital upskilling in 2026. Employers that invest in learning culture, certifications, and real development opportunities will stand out. Pay expectations are rising: More than half are expecting a pay-rise soon. Regular benchmarking and transparent review cycles are now essential hygiene factors. The big takeaway? Tech professionals are confident, ambitious, and increasingly selective. They’re looking for employers who offer more than competitive pay. They want flexibility, progression, culture, and continuous growth.

It all felt very 2021 last week at Cognify with several placements and client wins. 🔥 ✅ 3 new placements 💼 9 new roles across 5 clients (Analytics Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics) 🤝 3 roles are with new clients 📌 1 retained search 🧾 1 contract role, 6 permanent. The data job market is red hot right now — but hiring remains super specific. You’re likely in high demand if you: 🧠 Work with a modern data stack 🚀 Have experience in fast-paced, product-led start-ups 🗣️ Can clearly communicate the business impact of your work 🧑💻 Are a senior IC and happy to stay hands-on 🌍 Don’t require sponsorship My advice to any job seekers is to figure out where you have the best experience. Be a specialist and build your CV and profile around this area - avoid selling yourself as a generalist. If your selling point is the tooling you have used- you are doing it all wrong! Cognify Search

Offshoring has been around for years… …so what makes EB Global different?⬇️ 1) 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥: ⚙️ Traditional Offshoring: Short-term external resource, task-based delivery. 🌍 EB Global: Permanent seconded extension of your UK team. 2) 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: ⚙️Traditional offshoring: Limited exposure to processes, systems, and culture. Interchangeable workers. 🌍EB Global: A candidate you choose. Fully embedded. Same hours, same tools, same vision. 3) 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞: ⚙️Traditional offshoring: Paper over the cracks short-term and end up with the same problem later down the line. 🌍EB Global: Long-term productivity and more consistent quality. Happier clients, reduced stress on UK staff, and savings of 30-45%. Both models have their place but they solve very different problems. EB Global isn’t about outsourcing work. It’s about scaling your business in a talent-short market. - o.leach@edenbrown.com Eden Brown Built Environment Tom Kitson Jamie Wynne #offshoring #hiring #SouthAfrica #Talent #Network #Engineering

🚨 Few companies say their contingent workforce program is “leading edge.” Because here’s the problem ... 🟠 Most of them think they’re doing just fine. In reality? They’re leaking spend, losing visibility, and getting ghosted by talent — all while juggling outdated spreadsheets and “inherited” vendor lists. I just published my take on the 2025 SIA Workforce Solutions Buyer Survey that reveals: ✅ What separates CW Leaders from Laggards 💸 The real cost of rogue spend (it’s more than you think) 🤖 Why most AI and direct sourcing efforts are stuck in PowerPoint 📉 And the one thing no one wants to admit: your tech stack might be lying to you It’s practical. It’s provocative. And it might just explain why your program feels... stuck. You'll find the link to the full essay in the comments 👇🏻 And if you like candid, high-impact insights about contingent workforce strategy (with a little wit thrown in), hit subscribe while you’re there. Because this is just the first in a short series — and what’s coming next will challenge the way you think about direct sourcing, supplier accountability, and workforce strategy at large.
