The two went to Las Vegas together but were seen trying to keep a low profile there, and no PDA was observed between the pair. According to TMZ, the ex-couple was spotted at Voltaire, which is a popular nightclub in The Venetian Resort. They were seen interacting with a group of people.

Despite no signs of PDA between the duo, who announced their separation in January 2025 after a decade of marriage, they were seen clearly comfortable spending time with one another, TMZ reported. However, a video doing the rounds on social media suggests that they maintained some distance from each other during Ashlee's actual performance.



In the viral video, Eric was seen nowhere near Jessica while Ash was singing. But the eagle-eyed fans spotted him standing just a little ways off, wearing a Georgia Institute of Technology cap. The face isn’t clearly visible in some snaps, but fans speculated it was him because of the hat, the same one he was seen wearing when he and Simpson arrived in Sin City on Friday (August 29, 2025).

The two remained tight-lipped on the speculations of reconciliation, and there was no PDA between the two in photos and videos from the concert. It all began when the ex-couple was spotted flying Southwest on Friday (August 29, 2025) from Burbank to Las Vegas without their three kids, according to TMZ.

In the photos that were clicked inside the plane, the two were seen sitting next to each other. Upon arrival in Vegas, Simpson and Johnson did not reveal anything about the current status of their relationship. According to TMZ, the ex-lovers jetted to Sin City to show support for Ashlee Simpson. Simpson and Johnson met through a mutual friend in 2010 and got engaged after six months of dating. The two tied the knot in July 2014 and have three children: Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, 12, Birdie Mae, 5, and Ace Knute, 11.
