Eric Tarpinian-Jachym murder: Teens arrested in Capitol Hill shooting, police release mugshots
Police have released mugshots of two 17-year-olds charged in the June shooting death of congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym in Washington, DC. The 21-year-old University of Massachusetts Amherst student was killed near the White House after being struck by stray bullets. Suspects Kelvin Thomas Jr. and Jailen Lucas face premeditated murder charges as adults. A third suspect, 18-year-old Naqwan Antonio Lucas, remains wanted. A woman and a teenager were also injured in the attack.
