US Open players receive £1k free gift bags as stars given luxury items
Neal Skupski has been giving an insight into what tennis players at the US Open receive in their welcome gift bags.
British tennis ace Neal Skupski has revealed the contents of his complimentary US Open gift bag, giving fans a sneak peek into the life of a top player at a major tournament. Skupski is currently competing at Flushing Meadows in the men's doubles with partner Joe Salisbury. The pair triumphed in their second-round match last weekend against American duo Maxwell Exsted and Cooper Woestendick 6-4, 1-6, 6-3, securing their place in the round of 16 where they will face Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Hugo Nys.
Meanwhile, in the singles events, both Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz celebrated impressive Round of 16 victories over Alexander Bublik and Arthur Rinderknech respectively, while Coco Gauff was ousted from her home slam by Naomi Osaka 6-3, 6-2. Taking to TikTok, Skupski shared a video alongside his partner, Cambri Prevost, unveiling the contents of his US Open gift bag, estimated to be worth around £1,000.

"First of all, we've got some nice Birkenstocks, got my initials engraved. The little NS there," Skupski commented during the gift bag reveal.
"Then on the other side, the US Open. Two different colours, there's taupe, which I got and brown, which I wasn't a fan of. We went with the taupe. Let's see what else we got.He then delved further into the bag, pulling out a bottle of Dobel tequila, which he promptly gifted to Prevost.
"First of all, some Dobel tequila. We got some Ralph Lauren 'Romance' perfume. Very nice, so that's another gift for you [Prevost]," added Skupski.
"What else? Aora Mexico Solid Lip Serum. Another one for you! This is going well. We've got the US Open 'The Honey-Deuce', it's a candle. Smells really nice. Smells really good. You can have that as well. Not much for me so far.
"We've got this nice little top. The US Open, a tennis ball and a racket. Nice design. I think I'll have that. Next, we've got some cool hats. I'm big into my hats, normally wear them backwards, let's see if it fits.
The 35 year old then proceeded to reveal the rest of the bag's contents, which featured some Beats earbuds, a Tiffany bracelet, and a Hatch restore smart sleep clock.
He also confessed that he and Prevost were still deliberating over who would claim ownership of the Tiffany bracelet.
Despite Prevost suggesting her partner could keep it, Skupski appeared perfectly happy to hand over most of the goodies to his other half.
